FSX Lockheed Jetstar

FSX Lockheed Jetstar, the first business jet. A four-engined aircraft, with several engine models installed, the aircraft was in production from 1957 to 1979. It entered service in early 1961. The first two Jetstars were twin engined airplanes, powered by Bristol Siddeley Orpheus turbojet engines. The second was refitted with the four Pratt & Whitney JT12 engines that were installed on all the first Jetstars. Garrett TFE731 turbofans were installed on later airplanes. A total of 204 Jetstars were built by Lockheed in several models. Military versions flew four U.S. Presidents, carrying the Air Force One designation while they were aboard (some jokingly called it Air Force One Half). This model represents the first two Jetstars. FSX Hawker Raytheon HS-125-850. The HS-125-700 and Hawker 800 are two more recent versions of the world's longest running corporate jet production program.The 125-700 and Hawker 800 are direct developments of the DH-125 (later the HS-125), which first flew in August 1962. This aircraft was developed into a number of variants through to the HS-125-600, all of which are powered by the Rolls Royce Viper turbojet. The 125-800 became the Hawker 800 from mid 1993 when Raytheon purchased BAe's Corporate Jets division. Production has been transferred to Wichita. Current. production is of the 850XP (Extended Performance) which was certificated in 1995 and has improved engines for better climb and cruise performance. A new interior is being introduced in 1999. FSX Cessna 525 CitationJet. Cessna developed the model 525 Citation Jet with the aim of expanding its market share for business aircraft in the jet-powered sector. The CitationJet design was new even though there were some similarities in construction of the nose cone, cockpit and fuselage diameter with the Citation II and IV. The CitationJet made its maiden flight on April 29, 1991. The FAA certified the aircraft for single pilot operation in October 1992 and the first delivery was effected on March 30, 1993. FSX Beechcraft Beechjet 400A, version 2. The Beech Aircraft Corporation acquired the Diamond II executive jet from Mitsubishi in December 1985. It was then marketed as the Model 400 Beechjet. The first Beech assembled aircraft rolled out on May 19, 1986. It wasn't until 1989 that the Model 400A was introduced featuring increases in payload and ceiling. This version is visually a model of the 400A Beechjet, the first version was visually that of the Model 400. There are two added features in this version: reflective textures and visual thrust reversers. Model, originally for FS2004 has been updated to work in FSX. By John B. Loney, Jr.
