Repaint for the SkySpirit 767-300 V5 model for FSX and P3D in the real-world livery for Royal Air Maroc which is based out of Casablanca in Morocco and typically operates to destinations in North Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia and North America. The aircraft was converted to a freighter in 2018 after serving as a passenger airliner for Alitalia initially and then with Royal Air Maroc. -
Does anyone know how to merge the VC from CLS 763 with the SkySpirit 767-400? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

/images/notams/notams22/fact0708.jpgThe "Frankenstein" - the 767-400ER, a classical 90s airplane withavionics backported from the modern 777.We have added a totally newavionics set with new 3D and textures to the cockpit, a high resscreens, MFD and newer version of the FMS to this 767. New, morepowerful engines, longer fuselage and remade the landing gear fromscratch! Also added cosmetic changes to the exterior model. As we are getting very close to releasing this addition to our 767family, I would like to tell you about the poetically frankensteinianstructure of the 767 now. The 767 family has 2 separate upgrades(extended and FPDS (modern avionics)) which together yield the globalpack, consisting of all our 767 variants each with 2 avionicssweets. The 767-400ER, just like the other members of the family, will besold with the commitment of full xp12 support at no additionalcost. Moreover, the org store will offer a discount for our new 767customers on the 400ER for the period until xp12 is out. The 767-400ER, will be offered not only as a standalone package, but as an upgrade to any previously bought package. This will slightlyincrease the amount of combinations you need to wrap your mindaround. Not only that, those who start their 767 experience with the767-400ER will letter get the chance to upgrade it to the 300ER andthe 2 current upgrades (extended and FPDS). So, the 767-family from now on will have two base packages with the767-300ER and 767-400ER respectively, which can be upgraded into ajoined "pair", or to any combination of 3 possible upgrades. Also a complete package will all the airplanes, called "globalPLUS", will be available. The 767-400ER standalone package will be on sale at $69 for theperiod until XP12 is released. "The 400" upgrade will be available for $30 as an addition to anypreviously bought package of the 767-famaly. Source

Review: Captain Sim Boeing 767 II for P3D V4 & V5By Alex Dickinson /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-01.jpgIntroHello everyone, welcome back toanother one of my reviews. Today we are going to be looking at theCaptain Sim 767 Version 2 for P3D V4 and V5. I was very keen to reviewthis model as I am a big 767 fan. In fact, one of the very firstadd-ons I got for FSX was the CLS 767, so I was extremely keen toexperience a 767 within Prepar3D. In service since 1982, the 767 has been one of the most versatileairliners every created, with over 1,100 built in several differentvariants. Today, the 767 has been replaced by the more modern 787 formost airlines, but the airframe is still being built as a freighterand has proved to be a big hit for cargo carriers such as Prime Air,UPS and DHL. /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-04.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-05.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-06.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-07.jpgExteriorCaptain Sim has crafted a truly authentic and accuraterepresentation of the Boeing 767. There is a huge amount of detailthroughout the model, especially on the exterior. An example of thisis the thousands of holes which make up the nacelle anti-icesystem. Also included are the remarkable 4K or 2K (adjustable)textures, which together with PBR, provides (on certain liveries), astunning metallic look. It is for this reason that chrome liveriessuch as American Airlines have never looked so good within a flightsimulator (I have yet to experience the new Microsoft FlightSimulator). /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-08.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-09.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-02.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-03.jpgInteriorMoving inside, and users will notice a cockpit not too dissimilarfrom the Boeing 757. This is because the Boeing 767 is the big brotherto the 757, and as such they have a lot in common, one of them beingthe same cockpit design. However, the 767 does have some smalldifferences such as fuel dumping and cargo heat options. I am gladthat all of these differences have been included and the cockpit isaccurate to that of the early Boeing 767s. There was also goodfunctionality throughout as all the systems seemed to work asexpected. Unfortunately though, the passenger section of the 767 wasonly accessible via the locked spot view, unlike their earlier modelswhich allowed you to do a complete walk-through. Captain Sim...ifyou're reading this...perhaps you could add this feature in a futureupdate? FeaturesAs I would expect with any Captain Sim product, it has an abundanceof additional features, one of which is the "ACE" system, which allowsyou to download, add equipment or adjust various parameters withinyour aircraft. You also have the option to individually control all ofthe aircraft's internal lighting, as well as all the variousdoors. You also have the ability to edit the systems in a way not toodissimilar to PMDG products. /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-10.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-11.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-12.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-13.jpgPerformanceWhen it comes to performance, I think trying to get any aircraft tobehave like its real-life counterpart is going to be tricky fordevelopers, especially something as large and as complex as the Boeing767 being reviewed here. However, having spent many hours testing theCaptain Sim 767, I found its performance was spot on (to the best ofmy knowledge and limited experience). Captain Sim's 767 always seemed to be on the mark in regards toperformance, especially during take-off and landing. In terms ofclimb/cruise characteristics, the feeling I got was that I was flyinga heavier version of the 757, which technically the 767 is. My onlycriticism was that there was not a lot of difference with flightcontrol augmentation with different weight settings - it felt slightlyinaccurate. /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-14.jpg /images/reviews/capts767/t/captain-sim-767-15.jpgConclusionOverall I came away very impressed with Captain Sim's rendition ofthe Boeing 767. I felt that the model not only looked the part, butalso performed how I would expect it to. There are still a few issueshere and there, one being the low FPS I experience during my testing, but that could be at my end, and nothing to do with the actual modelitself. Overall though, testing the 767 in P3D was an enjoyableexperience and I have no doubt that Captain Sim will address theissues mentioned above. Hello, I was just wondering why no developer has yet come out with a study level Boeing 757 or a 767. All of the ones I have seen are definitely not the highest quality. PMDG has done 737s,747s, and 777s, Qualitywings has the 787, but the 757 has seemed to have been left out, realistically speaking. I have the Qualitywings version of the 757, but it is very limited as to what it can do. Does anyone know of a developer of a very high quality 757/767 with similar detail to the PMDG 737? Thanks! Shawn Forry

New P&W JT9D B747-100/200/300/SP & B767-200/300 sound packs for FSX andFS2004 announced. It was "the first" among the big high-bipass ratio turbofan jetengines developed for civil air transport. It powered "the earliest" among both 1st and 2nd generationwide-body jetliners which entered service during the 1970's and 80's.... transforming civil aviation around the world from the start ofwhat became known as the "jumbo era". It produced almost twice as much thrust as the most powerful amongpreceding civil fanjet engines used on 1st generation narrow-bodyjetliners of the 1960's .... and for significantly less noise too. It was the great American jet engine of power, prestige, andpromise .... the PRATT & WHITNEY JT9D turbofan .... whichevolved throughout the 1970's, 80's, and 90's to spawn development offurther advanced turbofan jet engine technology, and new civiljetliner types, of even superior performance. A now .... its voice has been captured, and b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l-l-yreproduced, with an audio fidelity not previously offered for FS. /images/notams/notams18/plam0216/1.jpg /images/notams/notams18/plam0216/2.jpgInternationally reknown FS sound engineer Benoit Plamondon haspleasure releasing his latest projects ...P&W JT9D sound packs"for the B747-100/200/300/SP and B767-200/300. This project represents more than 2 years of development work. It's been compiled using only the very best interior and exteriorreal world recordings .... then fine tuned for exclusive compatibilitywith the POSKY B747-100/200/300/SP and Skyspirit2010 B767-200/300"freeware", authored by Hiroshi Igami, and both of whichare easily the very best 3D models of these particular aircraftcurrently available for FS. Each of these new "freeware" sound packs have been produced asseparate aircraft type and "FS2004" and "FSX" specific audioversions. These sound packs are intended for those whom seek high-fidelityaudio based upon what's heard from a "flightdeck perspective".... with equally meticulously engineered external audio alsoadded. What's heard on the flightdeck is quite different from the PAXcabin environment aboard any civil jetliner. For e.g .... when usingthis soundpack one will be treated to the predominant sound offlightdeck based avionics, and wind friction noise in proportion tosimulated aircraft acceleration (with very little engine sound audibleduring cruise), and when selecting the flaps and landing gear one willprimarily hear the "clicking" of associated levers and wind resistancenoise .... along a whole lot more audio ambiance too. Floundering Around Part 8: "Boeing 767" By Ron Blehm (26 October 2006) Background: If you've been following this series you'll know why I'm known by a "fishy-sounding" name. My goal in writing this column is the hope that we can present pilots with a unique FS challenge every month or so. This feature could take you anywhere; from rugged mountain flying in Alaska to flying big heavies in SE Asia, from commuter hops across Europe to amphibians around the Caribbean - one just never knows what we'll come across! History: Our little Flight Club also hosts a virtual airline, Flight Club International Airways (www.toomuchfs.com) and one of the flight options for mid-level pilots takes you from Rio, Brazil to Johannesburg, South Africa. Since our last two features where in South America and "Feature 9" will be somewhere on the African continent, I figured I'd give you the chance to fly something a little heavier this time - connecting the three features together. Routing: First of all, go back into the archives of Feature Articles here on www.flightsim.com and search for "Golden Argosy" and/or "Golden Hawaii" by Tony Vallillo, a real-world 767 captain. Enjoy the fascinating reads and then, load up a real world or favorite 767 and set in a high altitude air-route from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Cape Town (NOT Jo-burg!), South Africa. As you all probably know, add-ons can really enhance your FS experience and you'll find several at...FlightSim.Com. For this flight I thought you may especially have some fun with these files: rio_v5.zip riodjav5.zip capetown.zip sacities.zip worx14.zip Timelines: This time I decided to fly a Varig livery so I downloaded one of the many-available 767s from FlightSim.Com (photo above, left). If you depart Rio just before "dawn" in the early morning hours (photo above, right), you should have a full day of flying (image below, left) and still be able to arrive over "Shark Bay" before dark (image below, right), especially over the next few months. Having not flown this particular aircraft before I loaded full fuel but noticed that enroute my consumption was higher than other models I have (and higher than Tony's article reported as well). The route I had was just a touch over 3,600 miles and the specs for this aircraft are as follows: 767-200 - Max cruising speed 914 km/h (493 kt), economical cruising speed 854 km/h (461 kt). Range of basic aircraft with JT9Ds 5855 km (3160 nm), medium range version with CF6s 7135 km (3850 nm). (Somewhere around "the middle of nowhere" I was getting pretty worried - not like there are plenty of alternates lying around!) Regardless of the paperwork (images above), I landed with just under 500 pounds of fuel remaining between the three tanks. (Guess I should have flown the -ER version!) This flight was, however, better then one of my more recent attempts which you can review at www.putfile.com/pretendpilot and then look for files regarding "Flight 551" (excuse the shameless promotion but I really am proud of this little 5-minute video). I hope that your experience is better - (image, right) and if it is, you'll have about 6-7 hours to get some yardwork done while the flight cruises happily along. Ron Blehm pretendpilot@yahoo.com
