Garciamk3g
Two coyote pilots on their way to make a pickup over at NZRU had to make an emergency landing at a nearby abandoned airfield. Something was going on with the aircraft. Instead of calling it in, they decided to have a few beers and continue on with their flight. Garciamk3g
Fortunately, the aircraft had no issues making it to NZRU. After successfully landing at their pickup point, they loaded up the aircraft and went straight to their drop-off point, NZRO. After a successful delivery, they took off. Garciamk3g
The aircraft began to make an unusual sound shortly after takeoff at about 1000 feet, and it wasn't long before it lost complete control and crashed into Lake Rotokawa. Rupert
Great shots and story line!! Those remind me of a lot of Jan's flights. The water landing looks very similar but he was all about the cheese. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
