Mowgli22 Posted April 30, 2022 Share Posted April 30, 2022 Hi, whenever i start any float plane on any water surface the plane is already at full throttle and zooming across the water. I have to auto pause and look at the cockpit, and find all controls are at max. Throttle, mixture etc. Sometimes can't adjust the throttle, stays at 100%. All this even though the parking brake is on. tiger1962 Posted April 30, 2022 Share Posted April 30, 2022 The default C172 with floats has a runwaywater.FLT file in the Asobo_C172sp_AS1000_Floaters folder, and so does the Asobo_XCub_Floats. This file contains the aircraft state info for spawning on water. The Icon A5 doesn't have a runwaywater.FLT file, possibly because it's an amphibious seaplane rather than a floatplane. If your floatplanes are racing off at full throttle when spawning on water, either the runwaywater.FLT file is missing or the contact points for the floats are incorrect and the sim thinks the plane is in the air.
