Maybe just maybe they finally got the download updates right.

But now saying that out loud I probably am jinxing myself. Everything went smooth on my computer at my office. Even bought the $59.95 Reno expansion pack and that's almost done downloading too.

Next I will try to do the Google map mod so it will use Google maps instead of Bing.

Hopefully once I get home later tonight it will run just a smooth on my home rig.

I only have a couple SIM peripherals At my office, a yoke, throttle air mixture and prop Controls, peddles, radio panel, and auto pilot panel and switch panel.

At my house I have almost A SIM cockpit done.. I have the complete flight panel with everything including 6 fip's, trim wheel, real cessna throttle air mixture and prop Controls, gns 530 trackir 5 ect...

My work rig is just to blow off some steam here and there, My home rig is where it is at.

Just hoping when I get home it goes as smooth

It's getting there, this is many years in the works. Saving up money where I can find one piece at a time. I'm at the point though my wife will not let me spend any more money. It was either get the GNS430 so then I would have the 430 and 5 30 as I already have the gns 530 by real sim, or Stop buying peripherals and Use that money when I want to buy something fsomething from the Microsoft store like I just did. I just got the $59.95 Reno expansion pack.

The thing is I work all the time, I run my own electrical business and put in a good 80-100 hours a week. I never spend money on myself, never getting anything extranything extra. I always bring my lunch to work. I tried to make a pair of work boots or jeans last for years. I am always making sure my wife and daughter don't go without and always have what they want 1st. Many years I made sure that my wife and daughter were taken care of for Christmas and they bought me nothing. But that was on purpose I told them not to and was very adamant about it to save money, So now my wife tells me it's my turn. My daughter is a freshman in high school and we already have college paid for as we started saving from the day she was born. So my wife looks at it this way, I work so hard for the family that this is something I really truly enjoy. We can't really afford real flight lessons at the moment so this is the next best thing. After my daughter is out of the house the house and done with college then then I will start flight training for my Private pilots licensea7ac125231271a770f2efd106c79b31a.jpg7f73243d9abfc990979e2334e330fe74.jpg9ef6a588a8da823faccaed8f900d718e.jpga9e95ca12acfa3593b1f80b343f75336.jpg50d210f4e8213c698f615d1393599658.jpg

I updated without any problems. I noticed that all the assistance options were set to “easy”

Auto rudder.. notifications…flying tips.. all set to ON

I’ve switched them back off now of course.

I’ve also had a couple of CTDs. Both happened when switching from VR to 2d mode. Both while flying the Super Hornet. First time.. I was disabling VR because my view started moving around/shaking erratically.

I see the DX12 beta is on the pc options page.. but not on the VR options page. Anyone know why?

Wow! That's a good looking setup.
Thank you very much. Instill have a long way to go. I am playing around with 3 to 4 monitors to make 1 large monitor and wrap it like a Cockpit. I'm going to try some pawn shops soon. The problem is all 3 or 4 monitors have to be the same exact size and specs. Ideally the same brands or it doesn't work quite right. They also have to be decent monitors or it look like crap. Right now I picked up that 65" Samsung curve TV as you see in the picture. I just got that 4 months ago or an amazing price from Best Buy. Since they stop making curve T v's because they're not exactly as great as they were advertised, I picked that 1 up for $568!!

But honestly I would love to have 3 to 4 32" decent monitors. That is the dream but it will probably have to wait.

Right now at my office I have to set up a 3 22" monitors and made it made it one large monitor through through the video cards editing and then 1 large 65" TV on the wall that I use for maps that is hooked up to A computer also. So the computer looks at it as just 2 monitors and not 4. Still in the process of building and moving into my new office so that's why it's a crazy messf4505599146b6291f0ec25dc53266168.jpge8f2b56d0d4c58b5d8685b3877e813d3.jpg

To Nwanerka; How many setups do you have? I see the first set of pictures with a large screen as a monitor. Plus flight controls hardware. Then a second group of photos with a 3 monitor screens and flight control hardware. I am not Dear Abby nor do I try to be. But maybe focus on one primary setup and help keep the expenses down.

That first setup looks complete to me. But I have fun flying without any of the panels or switches or rudder pedals.

I have 2 setups. The 1st setup is at my office and I do have Is flight controls with autopilot, radios, And switch panel Is with petals and a yoke and throttle controls. All of the stuff that you see with the 3 monitors at my office was all my dad's old stuff. He passed away about 4 months ago so my mom gave me all of his.

My main set up is at my house where you see the big curve TV and flight panel. That 1 is my baby, it has taken me many years to save up and buy each part it has almost everything that I want including a trim wheel, 2 radio stacks, A switch panel, Is an auto pilot panel, 6 saitek fip screens, a gns 530, a true cessna throttle fuel and prop Controls, the yoke and peddles. A trackir 5 and an oculus quest 2 vr headset, And some other items i am probably missing. .

My goal is to get rid of the curved TV and get 3 or 4 32" or larger good monitors. I only got the large curved TV because Samsung quit making curve Tv's so Best Buy was almost giving it away. I picked that up for under $500 brand new 5 months ago.

Also the people that make The flight panel that all my peripheral going to are located and based right out of Flagler County and Florida where I live I live and I worked out some deals since they needed electrical work done and I am an electrical contractor here. I happen to lock out and my wife saw their return address and I almost didn't believe it lol based right out of the airport that my dad used to fly out of with his cessna 172.

My wife put a stop on spending money cause if you add up everything that I have bought over the years, it would be over $10,000. (That is including flight sim programs , paid add ons and paid planes. Also my monthly subscription to navigraph

Curious why your Throttle/Prop/Mixture controls are color coded backwards from "Standard"? (Normally, throttle is black, prop is blue, mixture is red.)
