loki
Also, I have a screwy profile name in the upper right hand corner, anyone know how to change it, it's not my Microsoft Store User name -weird. That would be your Xbox gamertag. See the link below to change it. https://support.xbox.com/help/account-profile/profile/change-xbox-live-gamertag
Elvensmith
The program should detect if it needs patching on startup and go to the Update screen. However be aware many of us are currently having issues with the Asobo server looping on files and not downloading, you may need to use a utility called Net Limiter to throttle your FS download speed to a maximum of 500KB/s. C.R.V
I also am having an issue with the latest update 1.18.3.0. My store account does not offer me the update nor does the opening screen displaying a window stating "checking for updates" offer same. Is there an alternative source? Elvensmith
Unfortunately, no. That's why I had to do the Steam verify which then triggered the FS/Asobo full reinstall of the program. Even assuming they sort the file looping at any decent download speed issue, that's still a very inefficient way of fixing a damaged installation. Vern.
