G1000 turns off midflight after update 11

I have a work around turn them on then off then back on, breaks whatever the issue was before engine start. thanks -
Anyone experiencing the G1000 going dark mid flight? Not a battery issue as other systems are all working.

Actually after another reboot all is running better than ever, high FPS and nav working

Solved - mostly, had to download Windows 11 over Windows 10 and that fixed it and allowed me to install however, although all my configurations were also loaded and installed, I can't send a flight plan to the GPS, Garman or a third party and, pressing GPS if I put a plan in manually has no effect. it's like the Nav key is dead. Heading works but Nav is dead

Thanks Dave but no, it didn't help, I did a complete restore of my computer, lost all the updates etc over the last 2 years and can't re-install MSFS - I am going to blame Biden for this too

No luck, still opens the store. Anyone know where the executable for MSFS 2020 actually is and what it's called? I have checked the Windows App folder and there are tons of folders with all the letters such as the Community Folder is labeled but I don't see an exe file.

This is a new one for me, 2 years of almost no issues with MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe and last night, when clicking on the MSFS Icon, it opens the Store instead. My app is in the store, I have reset the store and still, even with store updates, all I can do when clicking on MSFS is open the store. Has anyone else run into this issue in the Forum? I have seen some posted solutions for others on the net but none have worked and I would hate to have to reset my PC. Any help would be very appreciated. Steve

It was only the version I downloaded in the Marketplace called NXI G1000. Once I deleted it and went to the stock G1000 all worked fine.

I can change altitude by using the Vertical speed up and down and of course, hold altitude in the G1000. But I can't select an Altitude using the selector knobs, Anyone else have this issue?

Interesting, I don't use VR mode and the little bugger is still there. Just plain sloppy updates. Never had issue with updates in other sims.

Is anyone else seeing this, so annoying, and the dam thing takes over my navigation. On the ground as I am taxing two deformed hands appear on the yoke and if I rotate thru views they disappear only to comeback once in the air with the deformed back of a head, glasses, and hands - I hate these sloppy updates.

I've been getting CTD's which I have never had before and most of the controls do not operate correctly in cockpits. Just got another crash that said "Breakpoint A Breakpoint has been reached" whatever that means. I would hold off on updating if anyone can.

Latest update turned off DATA in he General Tab

If this happened to you, the fix is easy, go into options and in the general section, turn on all the data options. It seems the update turned them off on some machines. Once done, when you go into content manager most of your stuff has been reloaded except for a few you may have bought, just download within the content manager again and update them. Also, it looks like all the software I had downloaded and put in the community folder had to be reinstalled - it was all there I just had to tell it to reinstall.

So all is been running fine since August, downloaded and installed 1.15.7 yesterday and since, nothing but crashes. When i go into my content manager it says nothing is installed and I need the latest version. Anyone else run into this?
