plainsman
Thank You! I probably should have made a loup around the airport before heading out on the flight plan. I still have not figured out how to edit the flight plan in FS2020 yet. Lots to learn at this point! azzaro
I can't tell you how many times I've put myself in that situation in Flight Simming. Usually a box canyon. It rarely ends well. :o -- Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10

plainsman
Thanks guys! At least this way you only have a pile of pixels spread across the ground, not shards of carbon fiber and sheetmetal! Rupert
Thanks guys! At least this way you only have a pile of pixels spread across the ground, not shards of carbon fiber and sheetmetal! I agree!! Sims also have a much more reasonable Hobbs Hour rate!!;) BTW: Just curious, did you notice your speed and rate of climb about then? I'm always curious as to the accuracy of various flight models in sims. Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
plainsman
I did not, but it didn't seem to do anything unusual in order to make the ascent. That is the lower performance version of the DA-40 with the 135 HP diesel. That version isn't licensed in U.S. I7-9700K, RTX-2070, Asus Strix Z-390-H MB, 32gb G Skill 3000 CL15, Corsair Obsidian 750D case, WD Black 1tb M.2, Crucial CT500MX SSD, Seasonic Prime 750W Titanium PSU
