Colon to Panama - Cruising the Canal in a KitFox FS2020 Three Part Post

Recommended Posts

Today's flight is in the wonderful Kitfox Ultralight for sale in the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace. Taking off from Colon, where one enters the canal from the Atlantic Ocean, side of the Panama Canal, and flying to San Miguelito on the other end of the Canal, where the canal meets with the Pacific Ocean

More of the uniqueness only the real world can provide, unlike the repeated tiles we had before for scenery. Amazing what we allowed ourselves to accept before.

Thanks Bob. Actually that's part of the package and comes with the Kitfox. I love that livery. :) And so true, this simulator onward will NEVER get old.

John, Thank you so much, I appreciate it. It is very hard to get "bored" with this flight simulator.

Thank you David, much appreciated. :)

Michael, thank you! Glad you like my screen shots. :)

I just want to find the paint kit Bob. I would love one of these planes in Real Life, and being an Ultra Light technically, NO PILOT LICENSE NEEDED! :O

Hello,

Nice screenshots, and nice flight, but we should not be so appreciative of the rendering of the area by MS. so many mistakes, the new high Atlantic bridge will not let a cargoship through! the second set of locks is afrom a shot more than 5 years old, the bridge of the centenary is for sure nicer than this one, the less than a dozen high rises in Panama city should be closer to a hundred! and so many others. As for everywhere, they gave priority to the eye candy agains accuracy, a shame! Ayway we fly for pleasure and improvements will come -hopefully!-

good flights to all.

Michel

P.S.: We critisize Bing, but Google earth is not terribly better there...
