Rupert
Continuing my AOPA landing "Challenges" I opted to land at CDK. It is described as a 2,355' long by 100' wide runway. The width makes you feel you have a lot more runway left at the end than you do. The end is full of skid marks where people locked up their brakes at the last instant when they realized they had no runway left! Having been warned I actually got stopped on my first attempt! ;) Sometimes when "flying" in RW weather and time you catch a bit of pretty weather. I believe this time is better than most. Enjoy! Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

Rupert
Nicely done! Yes, the real weather adds a lot! :pilot: I agree!! I use my AOPA membership number to get truly accurate METARS. Having said that, before I figured out I should use what I'd already payed for here, I used WUNDERGROUND weather for wherever I was "flying." It's not as complete, such as multiple altitudes of clouds, but other than that it's pretty damned comprehensive. Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. flightsimg
Personally, I'm using the FSXWX freeware at http://www.plane-pics.de/fsxwx/home.htm Thinks it's pretty solid for the penny :):) Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2.
