andyjohnston
Was flying not far from my home when I discovered this to be the condition my aircraft was in. The rudder is jammed pretty good to the right and won't center. I'm flying across the continent to the Boeing Factory to get it repaired. Spent way too much time using these sims... Rupert
That's going to wreak havoc on your fuel efficiency. -- Bob +1!! It's a dammed good thing it wasn't a 737 Max!! They apparently can't even fly well with a functional rudder!! TBTG! My only real world experience flying Boeing aircraft was the USMC CH46! It had neither a rudder nor an electronic flight control override. Having said that with an engine shot out or gunshot caused hydraulic leaks, it wasn't really a picnic to fly either!! Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.

NMLW
The 747 is a pretty reliable aircraft, but bad things do happen on occasion .:( Larry

flightsimg
The 747 is a pretty reliable aircraft, but bad things do happen on occasion .:( Thinks those Boeings of the old time -- pfff how time is passing swift! -- were much sturdy. With good flight models, I think one may still feel real piloting with those big things (IMO sure real world pilots aren't allowed too, but who knows!) :pilot: Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2.
