loki
Episode #3 of their Discovery Series is out. The aerodynamic updates look like a major step forward over the previous MS flight sims.
lnuss
This sounds great, if they can pull it off while still using a typical PC. It's difficult to believe they can do all this in real time on a PC, but if so it'll be great, provided of course that the user interface is good, too. We'll see... Larry N. As Skylab would say: Remember: Aviation is NOT an exact Science!
loki
Modern PCs have a lot of power and features that current sims aren't taking full advantage of. So while there will almost certainly be a need to turn down settings on mid to low end machines, I suspect it will run much better from the start than FSX did. stinger2k2
I'm not sure that I understood the comments about it adapting to match your frame rate. A couple of the vids included in this sequence look to have a poor framerate. Or am I just paranoic since the Fsx tribulations? That said, I agree with Loki. The detail to which they have gone into regarding the air mass modelling is mind bogling. The new "feeling" of flight is something else to look forward in the sim. I'm hoping to get a closer look when they choose the alpha #2 testers. [emoji1696] Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
