    Default Another WWII Hero!!

The Spitfire MK1A. Flies great, but is playing "hard to get" with the wheel landings! Like breaking a wild stallion? I will just have to stay at it, might come down to airspeed at touch down. I can always resolve myself and go back to 3 point landings, but successful wheel landings feel so rewarding!

Generally, with much FS planes, a good solution is to tweak the [flight_tuning] section in the aircraft.cfg. When accustomed to the effets of that, just check a video of the plane considered. That usually helps to tweak towards how a plane behaves in real world!

Yep, practice makes perfect especially with speedsters like the Spitfire and Mustang. Don't let your airspeed get to low on approach or the tail tends to drop down, especially if you're using a lot of flap.
