DAVIDSTRAKA
Fine! Good idea to change your plane along! It really depends on the length of the flight really. The longer the flight, the faster plane I choose but they all have to be props! jfwright
Great shots of your 200nm trip. I like the idea of a new plane for each leg. With all the different prop planes out there you won't run short of planes to fly. Jim I am a King Air fan. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Downwind66
David - When I was doing my flights up the west coast from San Diego to Vancouver, Canada, I was going to try to do a San Francisco to Honolulu, Hawaii and when doing the flight planning for that leg, I realized something wasn't going to happen! It's 2394 straight line distance from SF to Honolulu! I don't have a prop that will go that far unless I could find one that's outfitted for extra fuel tanks! Something you might be thinking about. I never did it with a prop, but I did do it with a jetliner using the computer acceleration button. That's a long way! Maybe you could check with "The Donald" to see if he could have an aircraft carrier out there to get you some fuel? Rick

I found a prop plane that will go the distance, full fuel, no cargo or anything. It would just be a flying gas can! However, it does have the range from what I researched. I will start that flight early morning on the west coast and just let it run. Of course I will save the flight every few hours. The plane is currently top secret. I couldn’t land it on a carrier too big. This gets me to thinking about MS2020. I wonder if it will have an air to air refueling option! :D Senior Rookie Bragware: FSX Gold - Acceleration | HP Omen Obelisk Desktop | Intel Core i7 3.2 Ghz |16GB | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 | 1TB HD | 256 GB SSD (Gaming Computer) REX Worldwide Airports HD AS16 + ASCA ORBX Global BASE ORBX Freeware Airports ORBX HD Trees [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Downwind66
David - From what I have read, MS2020 will probably just end up being a bad dream that was never meant to be, especially for people like us on this forum site, who know how past versions of Flight Simulator has served us (and continues to serve us as we speak) well. TOP SECRET plane, the curiosity is killing me! I'm sure you will figure it out! Enjoy! Rick
