mrzippy
fsx goes blank/stops in mid-flight after about 20 minutes of operation Is this a "Crash to Desktop"? FSX disc version or FSX-SE? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
mallcott
fsx goes blank/stops in mid-flight after about 20 minutes of operation System Specs? If the sim is just stopping with no error message the most likely explanation is a failing system component such as power supply, graphics card or CPU. il88pp
If it's just the program crashing it won't be because of bad or damaged computer parts. Did you install anything new to fsx recently? When fsx crashes there is usually a Windows error message. What was that message? Also look in Control Panel-System-Event Log-Custom Views-Administrator Events. In that log, look for the last error from Fsx, and post the details here. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Failing memory modules can cause FSX to CTD. http://www.air-source.us/images/sigs/000219_195_jimskorna.png

Actually if a component that is being stressed by FSX is reaching a temperature limit or a power strain it is MOST likely that a crash-without a Windows error message - is a system component failure. You've provided your own justification - if it was FSX there would most likely be a system even log message to indicate such. Anyway, we need system specs to take this any further...
