We have 150 gallons of fuel for the 57 mile flight of about twenty two minutes. We will have moderate high cloud cover, but we will be cruising below it at 4,000 feet. Passing a maintenance building and the fire station. 4. It is a long way to runway 5 and we see more aircraft and airport buildings along the way. 5. We are finally off and stowing the gear as we pass the terminal building and parked aircraft. 6. Turning on course for Bremen. 7. Continuing our turn to the southwest as the sun begins to set. 8. We are leveling out at our assigned cruising altitude of 4,000 feet. 9. Passing over the Elbe River. 10. We are about halfway to Bremen near the town of Zeven. More in the reply . . . . . . . . . The city of Bremen and the River Weser is off or left wing and we see runway 27 at the airport. 13. We begin to descend and circle around to the west side of the city. 14. Continuing our turn to intercept our approach to runway 9. 15. About 4 nm from the airport we are lining up our approach with flaps 10 and gear down. 16. Now on short final with flaps 20. 17. Touchdown. 18. Turning off the runway. 19. Approaching the terminal. We have been assigned gate 5 for parking. 20. Parked, engines and systems shut down and passengers disembarked. As a long ago RW pilot I can relate much better to cockpits with real gauges than touch screens like a laptop!;) Plus the light and shadows could have been from a well painted still life!
