azzaro
Now David has me looking for rocks. With Easter coming up I thought of Rapa Nui (Easter Island). The FTX Global version, pretty as it is, bears little resemblance to the nearly treeless real thing. Also, for some strange reason the few Moai present have decided to go for a swim. For those who may not know, the aircraft is the Polish made Wilga. Goofy looking but great fun to fly. Oh, I did eventually find a couple of stone heads on land. One of which looks strangely familiar?... The real (simulated) Easter Island. ...Naaa, couldn't be Him? -- Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10

mrzippy
Great find there, Bob! The one does look like him but definitely needs a bigger schnozzola befitting of his Dutch royalness. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Rupert
Great find there, Bob! The one does look like him but definitely needs a bigger schnozzola befitting of his Dutch royalness. I agree as well!! And it's also the perfect location for His Peerness! Water, water everywhere!! Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. flightsimg
With my Easter Island default, I think FSX got wrong because all the island is covered with trees Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. azzaro
With my Easter Island default, I think FSX got wrong because all the island is covered with trees As you can see in my shots Orbx did the same. Don't worry, there are simulated humans there too, they'll soon have all that pesky nature mowed down. flightsimg
soon have all that pesky nature mowed down Hi! That's likely the result then of a wanted choice of a landclass. After the post, I checked more dry islands, closer to Chile and nowhere such a tree blanket is seen Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. Don't worry, there are simulated humans there too, they'll soon have all that pesky nature mowed down. Or the simulated animals and plants they bring with them will destroy the exact simulated environment they sought to find!! Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
