PhantomTweak Posted February 13, 2017 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Hint: Once you've made the icon on your desktop, rclick on it, select Properties, and on the General tab, select Advanced. In the window that pops open, tick the box that says Run As Administrator. It will save you some heartache later. il88pp Posted February 13, 2017 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Fsx (DVD version, don't know about steam.) doesn't make an icon on desktop during install. Instead you can start it from "start button-programs list". If you want a shortcut on the desktop you'll have to make it yourself. Right click on the listing in the programs list, hold right button and drag to desktop. Then select "Create Shortcut Here".
