FSX/Accel

Loaded FSX?Accel on win 10 1st time. Did not make a shortcut as it always has before.

Anyone know how to make a shortcut (not to the folder) for the program?

Thanks

You mean the FSX.exe Icon that should be on your desktop for starting the program? It is inside the Main FSX folder. Right-click on it and say create a shortcut and send to desktop.

Hint: Once you've made the icon on your desktop, rclick on it, select Properties, and on the General tab, select Advanced. In the window that pops open, tick the box that says Run As Administrator.

It will save you some heartache later.

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

Fsx (DVD version, don't know about steam.) doesn't make an icon on desktop during install. Instead you can start it from "start button-programs list".

If you want a shortcut on the desktop you'll have to make it yourself. Right click on the listing in the programs list, hold right button and drag to desktop. Then select "Create Shortcut Here".
