Using the wrong type of defragger will destroy an SSD. Using Trim and Optimize will do what you want and not harm the drive. There are some "defraggers" for SSD's but they basically use the Trim command.
Please, when telling someone to defrag an SSD - explain exactly what program and what you mean to avoid some inexperienced user trashing his SSD.
Frankly, IMHO, if it says anything like defrag - don't use it period.
