  1. Get a feeling for the time when Howard Hughes built his first aircraft designed for speed to shatter speed records. HCG Digital Arts Ltd brings this aircraft to Microsoft Flight Simulator to experience the thrill of 1935 with an airplane that broke speed and transcontinental time records. The video describes the Howard Hughes H-1 story and includes a collection of the most detailed H-1 remastered photographs and video clips from the time period.
  2. Hey Peer! The master is still taking great screenshots! Cheers!
  3. This 6 minute video shows you how to use the Altitude Preselector to perform a flight level change in the Carenado Pilatus PC-12. The flight level can be changed using the vertical speed (VS) function or by the indicated air speed (IAS) mode on the autopilot panel.
  4. Make sure the X-Box app is up to date and running. Sign in and out of the Microsoft Store. It all has to do with the sim not recognizing that you are not connected to the internet. Do not try re-installing or any anything similar to re-installing.

    Really?

I think many people are going to be very disappointed with the lack of significant visible forward improvement, especially given the long time gap from the release of XP11.
  6. Thanks for watching! I learned a lot about NYC when putting this together!
  7. Mini-documentary on the Engadin Airport with multiple camera views of the approach through the Swiss Alps. We fly from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden to the St. Moritz/Samedan (Engadin) Airport and perform the visual approach with RNP guidance. The Airbus A320 by FENIX Simulations is a full immersion aircraft for the MSFS platform. Full flight plan route is provided for this 35 minute flight covering 194 nautical miles.

  9. Thanks! Great to trigger great memories! No relation to the family with cottages at Port Stanton. Blue skies!
  10. Join me on a short flight from Vancouver to Kelowna to celebrate the 75 year history of the Kelowna International Airport (CYLW). We take the Airbus in style with in flight entertainment to recap the hi-lights of the airport from 1947 to 2022. Celebrate with Roy Orbison music and fireworks!
  11. @chrisjack123 Thanks very much! Yes, it will be very interesting to know if we won’t be able to tell the difference in another 20 or 30 years from now. @rnglgdj and @pugilist2 Appreciate the comments! @kingnorris Good point. We sure have come a long way! Thanks!
  12. Join me for a Flight Simulator Memory Lane experience and enjoy the visual comparisons between Flight Simulator and the real world during the final approach at 5 different Southern Ontario airports.

  14. Join me on a sunset flight that turns into an emergency over downtown Toronto. Follow along on the sequence of events as the right engine in my Cessna 310R quits! It is all captured on camera from the point of departure at Billy Bishop Airport to a safe landing after the engine failure. We follow real world checklists to get the aircraft safely back to the airport.
  15. There is no excessive pull to the left. It is an aircraft with the best flight dynamics in the the sim to date. I devoted my last video on how to fly the 310 in great detail. I think you will find it very useful. Check out my signature for the video.
  16. If you Google “charts for Meigs airport” it will pull up the old stuff.
  17. Cool! That is the airport that so many of us flew out of in the early days of Flight Simulator!
  18. Video Timestamps in the description when viewed on YouTube. Link in the description for POH download.
  19. Thanks very much folks for watching and commenting. Yes, the MSFS detail is very impressive! I wonder if Bruce Artwick uses Flight Simulator?
