  1. You really don't know me well at all pal.. Get over yourself. I have VR and used it in MSFS with TREMENDOUS results...unlike you who never touched the sim and talk of with no experience with it in VR, when I doubt you own your own VR but tried it on someone else's machine since it doesn't work with your FS2004 you cherish so much.
  2. Then why are you posting in the MSFS forum if you didn't use MSFS?
  3. No problem, I just hope it can help. It was obvious for me the mistake was the key assignments, for whenever I did the key on the controller the CTD happened, but nothing as I slowly added my add-ons back then. And just empty the Community folder. You can drag and drop them to a folder made on your desktop; that's what I did for easier access. Then I also created a short cut to the community folder on the desktop and gave it a custom icon so I don't accidentally delete or just transfer something over to it that could muck up the works. Hope you had a great Christmas and looking forward to seeing your findings. :)
  4. Hal, Glad to see they did not stiff you on the computer. Hope you have the best of luck with it and enjoy your new rig!
  5. Ahhhh, but alas, it can be sir. Believe it or not, my CTD issue was caused by somehow assigning the drone camera key to the hardware that I was using on my Logitech Yoke's Throttle Quadrant. The error does not lie with the hardware, but it's an apparent bug with MSFS. I have to use my keyboard assignment for the camera change. Just some food for thought on this thread about CTDs and what can be the cause. It may not always be what people think, an add-on not playing nicely, or drivers.
  6. As instructed by other developer when I had problem with CTDs. This is what you should do. Drag and Drop EVERYTHING that is in your COMMUNITY folder to another folder, you can create it on your desktop. Then, add your add-ons again one by one until the CTD happens. It is more than likely caused by some add-on you have, that is not playing nicely with the new update. However, in my case, and I'm not sure what your set up is like either, it may also be caused by controller set ups. What was causing my CTD was not because of scenery nor updated drivers, but what happened was, when I used a key combination on my Logitech Yoke's Throttle Quadrant is what caused the CTD. I have to use my Keyboard's assignment, not that to switch, otherwise the CTD still occurs for me. Also, I take it you checked your graphic card's driver's version to make sure you have the latest installed? Best of luck!
  7. Lol. That might explain it. :D Also, I hear what you're saying, I don't like that either. I'm just glad that my panel - though haven't tested since Sim Update 7, and I use Logitech Multi Flight panel, still works with the AP. Though watch your AP when you try to use your instruments on the Bravo Quadrant. You might get a pleasant surprise and see the numbers moving since I did notice the aircraft was finally updated in the Market Place.
  8. Just some advice bringing up Carenado. Ignore forum member malcott if he rudely PMS you in your inbox over bringing them up. He gets triggered whenever anyone mentions them. I went through three days of his unwanted rudely expressed and abusive opinions of the developer in my inbox after my last post about them. Quite sad for an adult's behavior, really. However, to answer your question, I believe you use the + - buttons on the autopilot to adjust the altitude. I haven't flown that one in a while, but I believe that is the way I used to do it.
  9. Thanks for that information! Appreciated. Great information in that, thank you! I kind of figured it was because of Sim Update 7.
  10. I love the photo comparisons. Whoever did this did an awesome job.
  11. How did you get an FSX model into P3D V5? Totally different structure I thought on model construction. For when I tried porting over models, there would be gaps and holes in textures and you would be able to see through it.
  12. Sim Update 7 needs a hot fix! That's where the error lays, they are the ones responsible, not the developers who try hard to make things work when Asobo does not.
  13. I have noticed that too with their updates, but lets hope the 337 is as good as it looks. Otherwise, may be the last thing I buy from that developer.
  14. Really? No replies at all? Isn't anyone else out there wondering? Wow. Staggering on the crickets from the audience here...
  15. Has anyone heard anything different since their last update? Its been a while, and they still haven't released it. Was hoping they would have by now.
  16. Well, you helped give me a lead then as to what might be causing MY issue with a scenery package. I'm going to check it out. Thanks for the tip Abel! :)
  17. Great work on the paint again JK, wonderful job!
  18. Amazing job Adam, or shall I say Mr. Ross. :)
  19. Thanks Larry, appreciated amigo. Jan, Thank you sir! Its safe from expensive noises here. :)
