Thank you! This looks like the type of place I'd like to visit.
It's nice to see that sport aviation is alive and well around the world.

lordhearteater, rather than giving this a one star, and stating you'd give it a zero, why not message the creator (as I just did) and let him know he inadvertently left out the bgl. Be helpful and support those attempting to give you FREE enhancements.
-
Nicely done. Having overflow this field many times for real, you definitely enhanced the reality of it in FSX.
-
So many places to visit. Need to carve more time for sim-flying to visit them all.
Flying around the Salton Sea was fun in real aviation, you've brought that back into FSX. Excellent.

Thanks p14u2nv,
Doing the best I can to help keep FSX alive, relevant, and fun.

Thanks p14u2nv,
Very appreciative of your comment.

Thanks Lazerson.
It struck my fancy when I first read about landing on a highway.
This was quite a challenge and very fun. Matching the runway alignment with an existing FSX road and adding the lake.
-
Thanks Lazerson, really appreciated.
-
Great addition from the best source out there for so many missing fields across the US from our youth.
-
It's my pleasure to attempt to fill in that major gap.
More to come as I go through my old logbooks and dust off my photo albums for ideas.

Very cool. Really unique subject for FSX scenery.
Thanks Lazerson.
Been going through my real life memories and trying to recreate some of these here in FSX>

Excellent. I'll assume "the men" sleep in the tents, and officers sleep in the Nissen huts!
That is not the way of the Corps. O's and E's have the same type of quarters, tents or huts or whatever.
Most of the Quonset huts are for offices and quarters of the base permanent personnel who run the airfield, ranges, etc. during a CAX.
Tents were for the deployed visiting units.
The air and ground units tend to stay on opposite sides of the airfield.

Fantastic work!
Thank you, your assistance and guidance helped get this all going.

I spent a lot of time throughout the Chocolate Mountains with the CH-46.
This area has several low level routes that I hope to recreate.
Still learning how to place scenery items.
Nice to have a runway now, that is closer than Yuma.

I thank you uenoshing for all the amazing work you did to create this aircraft.
You did the did the difficult and detailed engineering and building, I did the flying.
A fun collaboration.

I am glad that you are enjoying my model.
I've been flying this in the vicinity of Edwards AFB, exploring the aircraft envelope.
It it a really fun aircraft to fly.
Once I finish with an IFR tutorial I'm working on, I intend to take a test pilot approach to the Jaguar and document as much of that experience as I can.
I'll do an in depth review and post here on FlightSim.

I'm glad to see another review, since so few people ever review aircraft anymore.
I fully understand menef's assessment, and his 4 star rating.
Of note, for me personally, menef's comment "you have to fly by guess ( rotation speed-approach and landing speeds , max ceiling , stall speeds, ............flight data missing)." is something I actually liked with this specific aircraft. I felt like the test pilot, having to explore the range of capabilities the aircraft has.
The main point is that this is a visually stunning aircraft and a great addition to anyone's hangar.
