  1. Very nice cockpit indeed! I was planning to do something like yours but on a smaller scale few years back, but then got deviated to racing sims and built a cockpit for racing instead, with motion and all. But now that I'm back with flight simming and space flight simming it is maybe a time to start another build... :p
  2. Cool! Very nice shot.I have not noticed icing effects outside my airplane, makes me wonder if King Air icing effects are not visually working, because I’ve felt the effect.
  3. Good point Stinger2k2, on one of my early flights i noticed how my King Air started to drag it’s tail very heavily during autopilot. I disabled autopilot and almost lost control, plane was very difficult to fly and it barely could keep it’s altitude. After some hassle, I find out that you must actively use de-icing booths every now and then to blow away the ice from your wings. Which is pretty nice!
  4. Agreed. With King Air 350i lights are completely useless atm.
  5. But there is, select World Map from the home menu and there you can select your aircraft, loadout, airport for departure and arrival, create flightplan, adjust weather etc.
  6. Sounds wonderful! Consider taking screenshots along your journey and posting them to the screenshot forum :)
  7. These look interesting! I’ve been using google maps on my second monitor to vaguely keep track of where I am. I did not realize there might be this kind of realtime tracking apps.
  8. You don’t have to! You can setup each controller separately in MSFS Controller Options menu.
  9. Might be a bug/conflict with keybindings. What happens if you adjust heading bug with your mouse? You might also try to change heading bug adjustments to other keys to track down possible binding conflict.
  10. Not sure what is going on in this thread, hard to believe that for someone CLOUDS are the biggest problem in this sim, when there are much more relevant problems waiting to be fixed. In visual department too, like water patterns, but they are not affecting my enjoyment of the sim in anyway. If Skywatcher12 looks sims and games so critically that even FS2020's clouds look horrible and are a major problem, fundamentally flawed, I can't for the life of me understand how he/she could ever stand to fly previous generation of flight sims or play computer games whatsoever. So, I'm so glad I'm one of those who "Are not seeing the problem".
  11. Nice shots, very detailed and busy looking airport.
  12. Propably obvious, but are you sure you have binded rudder pedals to rudder axis only and not to digital "rudder left" and "rudder right" bindings?
  13. After over three hours of flying in real time, I finally arrived to Iceland and what a magical moment it was when cliffs started to emerge behind the clouds! This is one of those games that truly make you feel that you have travelled somewhere. I picked my destination (Breiddalsvik) randomly from google, thought this small landingstrip right next to water might be fun place to land. Now I want so badly to travel to there for real. Or anywhere in Iceland :)
  14. Yes, sounds a lot like overheating issue. I would download a hardware monitor software, like openhardwaremonitor, cpuid etc. if you have not allready and check all temperatures to confirm. It could also be power related issue, so I suggest to pinpoint the exact problem before buying new hardware.
  15. Pedals are not really needed, but make flying so much more fun and controlled imho! Especially with prop planes that tend to steer heavily to left during take off. And heavy crosswind landings, with pedals it is much easier to Keep everything under control.
  16. Yeah, I had No Leaf Clover in mind :) But seems that I need to check out Starlight Express :D
  17. Nice shots! And yes, while there are lots of room for kmprovement in general landscape generation, I find it pretty amazing how good it is. When I first started up FS2020 I started with sight seeing in my current home village and bigger town nearby. I was blown away. I could even pinpoint my house, follow my SUP-boarding routes between the islands etc. and it was really not hard to imagine really being there, it was so accurate. But when I told about my friends who also had seen the local scenery they were like, ”what are you talking about? It is no where near line real thing, vridges look weird, houses are wrong shape and color...” I gues it’s all about expectations. But there are also big bugs in terrain generation, like the Shetland Isles atleast near EPGM, Hammerfest airport, my birth place and surrounding area in northern Finland to name a few I’ve noticed. Let’s see how terrain generation improves in the future!
  18. Hi Rupert, fantastic shots! And truly completelly different lanscape compared to what I experienced while being there in new MSFS :) Runway 06 was completely impossible to land on due to massive hills right infront of the runway.
  19. This. This was also my issue when I noticed exactly the same "wobbly" behavior while I was binding my controls for the first time. I had two different axles binded to rudder accidentally. Removing the duplicate fixed my problems.
  20. Did my first night time landing at Dublin with King Air 350i and noticed that it has absolutely useless landing- and taxilights! You can see nothing from the cockpit. Reported as a bug to Zendesk.
