Good morning.
I have downloaded a Boeing 787-8 from CamSim, in this site. When I try to fly, the plane is floating about 2/3 feet from ground. How can I solve this?
Thanks in advance your kind answer.
Please post your question in the FSX forum, this is the MSFS 2024 forum.

Never mind FS2024, SU15 would be nice - at this rate it'll release on the same day as City Update 06 and Local Legend 15! (Scheduled for next week, if anything goes to plan with this sim lol)
-
Also the sim has been launching with the update screen flashing up and then starting in windowed mode for the past week.

Yes the expansion packs are optional and can be safely removed from the content manager - along with any world updates and city updates you don't need, these are optional too.

Simbrief makes it easier to program the FMC....lol....just "plug and play". No 15-20 minutes of programming each waypoint, weights, fuel, etc.
Ah! of course - I gave up on the airliners back in FSX (after 9-10 years of flying nothing else) so I forgot about all that FMC stuff!
-
I've given up with Simbrief. It only works properly if you also have a Navigraph subscription, which I don't have. If you take the time to learn how to flight plan using the default World Map features, it does everything that Simbrief does anyway.

Are you in DX12 mode? Try DX11 instead. I just googled "CoherentGTCore.dll" and one result suggested a DX12 issue along with Live AI Traffic, but I'd suggest switching to DX11 mode first.

Never was an issue since I bought MSFS and my new gaming PC. (Specs in sig) Only recently has this been happening.
It could be due to a gradual build-up of memory-hogging add-ons lol! I doubt it with THAT rig though... Maybe it's a corrupt livery on an AI traffic plane somewhere.
4 minutes ago, nsproles said:I am having the same issue, although not on every flight. I changed from the development version to the FBW A 320 to the stable version to see if that was the issue but it did not make much difference. Sometimes, but not every time, pressing the Pause key will get it running again.
I'm surprised that a GTX1660ti can run MSFS on three monitors AND TrackIR3! I suspect there's a bottleneck there...

It could be that your Xbox Credentials were corrupted in the power outage. You can delete them and restart your computer, when they'll be regenerated automatically.
To do this, type Credential into the taskbar search window.
Click on Credential Manager.
Click on Windows Credentials.
Click on each entry beginning with XblGrts and select Remove - there are a lot of them, but it beats a full re-install!
Close Credential Manager and reboot your PC.

If Model Converter X can import the P3D model, it should be able to convert directly to MSFS format - but this is a very hit-and-miss process and you'd be better off sourcing your aircraft from Military AI Works, who have already produced an MSFS-native package: https://militaryaiworks.com/

Your legacy models, liveries and flightplans need to be FSX native to work in MSFS, older stuff just isn't compatible.

Select the Dune expansion in Content Manager and then click Delete.
Restart MSFS, go back to Marketplace and install the Dune expansion pack again.

You'll need something like Axis and Ohs software: https://www.axisandohs.com/
There are others out there, but I'm no expert on cockpit building but hopefully someone who is will chime in here.

I have mine set up on my throttle quadrant, but I'm sure you can assign the command to anything - under the Power Management settings, look for DECREASE CONDITION LEVER. You might have to press and hold your button for it to work.

This sort of thing has happened before. More than likely, the cause is an upgrade to your browser, to Windows, or to some other security software you are using.
I'm only seeing the malware warning on downloads from flightsim.com, downloads from other sites are fine - this is with MS Edge browser.

Press the keyboard 'End' key to toggle Cockpit/External view.

Okay, one down - four to go. I think this is a club I'd like to join!

Generally, about four or five before it happens to me. It only happens to some; others seem to get more chances before the hammer drops.
Seriously? Good grief Alan, you're not a troll - if the mods are watching, I can vouch for ViperPilot2 and jgf!

I notice that downloads have stopped over the last 24 hours, possibly due to the above message.
Is this a site certificate issue by any chance? This error doesn't appear when downloading from other sites.
