I agree. Having almost 40 years in FS and having flown all the versions, this sim is just great. Has a few problems which slowly are being resolved but still very enjoyable. I fly almost every day and look for a new part of the world to discover in the amazing detail of this sim. At this moment I am flying down the West Coast of Alaska with amazing details of snow covered mountains, glaciers and many islands. Could never have imagined this many years ago. Us old simmers are in awe with this latest version and the ones who are complaining are the people who never flew with the first versions. I am looking forward to receive my Reverb G2 headset to try out FS2020 in VR. Regards

I just ordered the Reverb G2 and was wondering if my graphics card RTX 2060 Super is powerfull enough for this VR headset??. I have never flown before in VR and updated my computer in June to be ready for FS2020 with an i7 9700F, 32 Gb Ram and SSD hard drive. I have good performance in the sim and love it, but never contemplated using VR until seeing so many videos on Youtube which made me take the plunge and purchase the headset. Do any members know if I will be able to fly in VR with this graphics card or will I need to update??. Regards and thanks for any replies.

I also have problems with the 172 today. Twice I took off with no problem and all going fine when suddenly the plane drops out of the sky. Before the update I had no problems.

I have been flying MSFS 2020 since day one and FS since the very first version. I think MSFS is just great and I am enjoying the experience. OK the sim has many bugs but I prefer to have it now with bugs (and still enjoyable) than wait until next year when the bugs will be ironed out. At least this new sim gave me something to do while being in lockdown with the pandemic. This sim has renewed my long intrest in FS..

I have also been flying FS since the very first version on a Commodore 128. I thought FS was great then and its even greater today with MSFS. I am fascinated with the new sim and the extreme realism. In the last couple of months not being able to travel as normal I have repeated many of my real flights and I am astounded at the realism. At least in MSFS I dont end a flight with a painful neck like in a real flight by trying to peak out of those low windows:)!!!!. The sim has its problems as all of the previous versions have had. With the latest update its almost impossible to fly the A320 as the AP seems to go from OP Climb to OP Descent on its own. Instead of griping I have switched to the B787 for the time being.. Too many people are complaining about the faults with the new sim as they are unable to compare with the early versions as they never flew them. I would never have imagined back in the 1980's that one day I would be flying such a real sim!!!. We just have to be patient as all the bugs are worked out.
