If my memory save me correctly which is a rare thing nowadays on the site that was selling it which that copy did not fully work correctly the developer made a post and stopped them, he said that he did not mined it been distributed free or words to that effect "I hope I am not crossing the line on flightsim.com 's piracy policy" it was at that point because you cant buy a key now for such a brilliant program, I started to pass it on to friends and fellow simmers free but mainly TNW users, I have not had a issue since as Web : http://biggles11.wix.com/the-natural-world Mail : biggles11@btinternet.com

I have been into flightsim for more years than I can remember, in that time have seen many simmers have a burn out and take a break meaning to come back after a rest, sadly most never do. Which means that they never say goodbye to the many who have known about them, so all we can do is thank them for there input. I myself tend to head of in a different directions with the many different sims and different things to do from scenery to designing new circuitry and switching to my cockpit, because of health problems I tent to not go out in the winter so set myself tasks and goals, the summers I love in the garden and weather permitting I spend all day jobbing out there and spend little time thinking about simming as support work takes most of my time on the computer. My advise is not to do the same thing but set your self new challenges its what mankind has done to achieve the world as we know it today. I don’t rate the Aces team, many of which were snapped up by Lockheed Martin to work on P3D. The FSX experience is not a patch on FS9 although FSX is a lot more detailed and vivid the Land Class is rubbish. I get FSX users reverting back to FS9 quite regularly. One just needs to look at the default P3D v4 scenery to see what a bungling mess it is, maybe new blood is a good thing. I think Microsofts new rendition will run on win10 which has a lot of Xbox it, but can’t comment on it further as I have never had anything to do with Xbox. Hi Rayburrow Check out my freeware site it’s not photo scenery but upgrades the whole of FS2004 worldwide to bring it more into this decade. It will not interfere with any photo scenery you have installed apart from making its look clearer and bring thing like airports into view from a much greater distance, my tweaks will also improve the visual experience and running of FS9. Hi Hans This has a feel of low level malware. all the main Anti Virus Progs do not bother about malware that is only tracking or collecting none secure info, but as with the majority of malware/Viruses it is not very well written and can end up chocking itself and stopping PC processes. Won't do any harm installing something like (Malwarebyts) on a 30 day free trial, if this is not the problem it may well get you PC running better. Hi I have installed 2004 a lot for other simmer I and finding now that the disc's are suffering age symptoms which then tend to give the type of problems you are experiencing. I then downloaded a FS2004 ISO torrent. burnt it to a DVD bingo sorted, never a problem now, and the DVD runs none stop without the need to change the CD or click next. Hi I am also a software developer for 2004 since the launch of FSX and do appreciate constructive feedback, if the feed back is pointing out a issue with my TNW program I always work with the simmer to improve my program as many will testify. I always put my details on the end of a link or posting in a hope that I get feedback in such a way that it leads to an improvement in TNW software, sadly this is not always the case as I have quite often found out at my cost and can well understand those that do not post their details with their freeware. I know 5 simmers that have developed good software but they do not upload because of the trolls, sadly for all the simmers that are missing out.
