FSX King KNS-81 RNAV Update. This update is for the King KNS-81 RNAV sets already in the field, that may have experienced "in flight" waypoint change troubles? The RTN (Return) button has been downgraded back to local saves to RNAV ops for immediate WP change saves without the need to use the "USE" Button "split" mouse click option. This update cleans up in flight "edits" of the Waypoint Table, as shown in the King RNAV Instruction Manual found in the \Gauges\King KNS-81 RNAV and \King KNS-81_N1HSI Packages. FSX King KNS-81 RNAV. Thanks to user "Russell" for his input, the natural evolution of the King KNS-81 RNAV is now complete. It now runs as NAV #1 and drives the standard King KI-525A HSI we all know and have used when it's been available. This is a new package with a few changes suggested by Russell as well as a Nav #1 based KDI-572 DME Display, making the "set" complete. By Ronald Prindle.

FSX Panels--KNS-81 RNAV. This KNS-81 RNAV package makes use of C:\FSX_RNAV_LOGGER\KNS81.TXT, a package recently introduced for the KN-74 & KNC-610 RNAVs, whereby the KNS-81 makes use of ten (10) waypoint memories where the others only used one. Thanks to Robbie McElrath's "Logger" the project uses storage of these locations with direct panel editing. Included is a new Remote DME and a Waypoint "viewer" for training/study purposes and uses the existing VOR #2 heads already delivered in past RNAV Projects. All XML files, as in past packages, can be installed manually, or with recomended editors like FS Panel Studio software for "better fits" to existing panels. By Ronald Prindle.

FSX Panel & Gauges - ARC Radio & More Updates. This update package brings more legacy radios and updates to your existing FSX avionics. Updates for existing packages were for: Cessna ARC Radios, fixes corrected 25 kHz "delta" displays. All new packages include a 360 channel ARC RT-308C Nav/Com 1 & 2 and King thin "independent" navs and comms of KY-196A's and KN-53's to help close the gap I seemed to have created as I develop a King KNS-81 Nav 2 RNAV System (soon to follow). I also made labels, "stickers" you can place on your radio faces to help recall effected displays. FSX ARC Radios 25 kHz Update. This update package activates the 25/50 KHz "switch" legacy Cessna Nav/Comms had located between the displays. This collection of XML files need only be copied to the folder your ARC Radios are in, from the original distribution found in FSX_LEGACY_AVIONICS_UPD.ZIP By Ronald Prindle.

FSX Legacy Avionics Century IIB Autopilot Update. This update is for the existing CENTURY_IIB_AP.ZIP that now has a working "wing leveler" roll knob and some LGS mode protection fixes. New default Century Flight Systems, Inc. panel images have been provided as well as the original "Piper" images. Simply copy the UPDATE Folder contents into your FSX \Gauges\Century IIB AP\ subdirectory. By Ronald Prindle.

FSX Legacy Avionics Update. This update package brings more legacy radios and indicators to your FSX airplanes. Updates for existing packages were for King Silver Crown Series, Narco DME-190 and RNAV ops. All new ADFs for Collins and King packages and transponder updates for "reply" displays. New Cessna (ARC) radios have been built. All as in past packages, can be installed manually, or with recomendations for using FS Panel Studio software for "better fits" in existing panels. FSX Collins Micro-Line basic legacy radios, XPDR and audio panel for light aircraft. Another "remake" of an existing XML radio from the FlightSim.Com's library that is now as functional as FSX will allow. It includes both Nav/Comm 1 and 2, a factory PDF instruction manual and is compatible with your existing navigation equipment (VOR heads, etc.) Installation as with any XML Gauge, can be done using a text file editor or a recommended package like FS Panel Studio. FSX Century II B Autopilot & RNAV Updates. Legacy avionics continued, this time around is an average "rental" autopilot, a Century IIB, along with two updates for the RNAV Project VOR displays. Included is the Pilot's Manual for the Century IIB, which like most light aircraft do not have altitude hold and often, no glideslope linkage. While developing the RNAV waypoint tracking concept, actual autopilots of the time were few and far between. So, I adapted the Century IIIB FlightSim.Com to a working Century IIB, no RNAV (yet). FSX Gauges--King Silver Crown Updates. If you have the KING_SILVER.ZIP file, you may want the updates that follow, since several issues have been addressed in the King KX-170 radios and the KMA-20 audio panel. Improvements to the King radios and the King gauges are found in their own folder. The enclosed files can be simply unzipped into your existing King Radio Project directories, or if you are new to this package, simply unzip and copy these folders to your \Gauges directory of FSX. FSX New_KN74_TSO RNAV_Updates. If you have the NEW_KN74TSO.ZIP file, you may want the updates that follow, since several issues have been addressed and the introduction of the Narco CLC-60 RNAV is included. Improvements to the King RNAV elements are in their own folder and the new Narco CLC-60 and an ARC VOR #2 are found in its own folder. The enclosed files can be simply unzipped into your existing RNAV Project Gauge directories, or if you are new to this package, simply unzip the folders and copy these folders to your \Gauges directory of FSX. FSX Updated King KN 74 RNAV Project. This is another open source contribution to the FSX users, an update to the existing KING_RNAV_PROJECT.ZIP submitted, this time with "True Linear" RNAV characteristics. The "package" includes a DIY install example and documentation on the RNAV theory and use of this project, with example screen shots and a King KI-201 VOR head look-alike. Thanks to Richard O. FSX King RNAV KN74. General Aviation - FSX - King Silver Crown RNAV, single waypoint system based on KN74 Course-Line Computer. This additional XML/BMP package contains a dedicated Nav 2 RMI and new King style DME displays, those found in the late 70's and early 80's. This legacy RNAV system is presented in its "beta" form for early delivery to FSX users who want to try a VHF-based VORTAC VOR/DME navigation system. It can and should be installed using products like FS Panel Studio for size and location "fit" into your panel. It can be in whole or in part, meaning if you like just the KI-265 DME, you can use just that item for other applications. By Ronald Prindle.

FSX Narco "TSO" Collection. Radio Collection of Narco "TSO" Radios for General Aircraft. This XML Radio collection was assembled from aircraft downloaded from FlightSim.Com for users who wish to update their panels for actual rigs that were found during the '70's and '80's in most rental airplanes. King Silver Crown Series elements, that include the KX-170 Com1/Nav1 as well as a Com2/Nav2 radio sets, a working KMA20 Audio Panel for the series and a working set of remote Marker Lamps that follow the KMA-20 Test Lamp Sw.
