  1. Just downloaded 2 bush trips from Flightsim.to, one called Serengeti, the other Brownsville Imperial. They say after unzipping to put the folders in Community, and they are in community. I fire FS2020, these 2 Bush trips are neither in the Bush Trip section, nor in MIssions , nor in flightplans… nowhere to be found... I am at a loss here… Any help will be appreciated Happy New Year everyone ;) J-L.
  2. Problem solved: I had to install the program through the Aerosoft web site while providing them with the product code JLB
  3. Two questions: how do you know the program has been properly installed, in other words where is it located, community? local state? Also what kind of traffic should we choose in FS 2020 : live? AI? Thanks in advance J-Louis
  4. Same here, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is the way to go with FS2020 It is presently at $30 and change at Amazon, a nice change from the outrageous $70 to 90 a year ago!
  5. You are not alone.. same situation here! I will try to delete the FBW through my content manager and reinstall it from the FBW website J-Louis
  6. Inky 160, I retried after your message a Peoria Midway using the stock Baron with an arrival with RNAV 13L as before and guess what? It worked! The plot thickens... J-Louis
  7. My first reply went too fast! Following your advice, I did 2 flights to KMDW from 2 airports in the Peoria area. Both flights from Urbana-Champaign KCMI, and Bloomingdale KBMI went just fine So congrats for pinpointing Peoria... Now the question is:how can a stock airport trigger a CTD? J-Louis
  8. Just tried to plan a flight with the stock Baron from Peoria to Midway with an arrival RNAV on 13.. As soon as I hit fly, CTD! Tried again 2 times, CTDs.. even tried an arrival on ILS, CTD again. I thought that maybe FS2020 did not like Peoria or Midway (or both) so I decided to go yo the Riviera and planned a flight from Nice to Marseille which worked flawlessl. My conclusion is clear: FS2020 has a mind of its own and can be stubborn at times More seriously, Asobo should really look at these CTDs coming out of the blue J-Louis
  9. Bonjour Tim, As always you are the savior! It works perfect now. Happy flying! J-Louis
  10. And to follow up on my previous question: until now when you were hitting buttons such as auto pilot or altitude, they were turning green and you knew they were on... now nothing changes, hitting the autopilot button does not put the plane in autopilot... That would so nice if MS or Asobo could take a minute or two to write a user paragraph on how to use this new cockpit specs... But maybe they are applying the old saying :" why make it simple when it is soooooo much fun to make it complicated" Anyway if somebody has a solution, I'll be glad if they could share. Thanks in advance J-Louis
  11. For the life of me I cannot understand what to do know in the cockpit! Since they put this blue thing on everything touched by the mouse, nothing works for me... Cannot use, tune or swap the nav or radio, cannot select heading... where are the circular arrows when you need them? I tried changing the flight model (as advised in another forum) from modern to legacy but no luck And what are this soft keys or this "?" question mark thing they are talking about? The help of experts will be greatly appreciated J-Louis
  12. Bonjour de Washington Superbe video qui montre bien les qualités de FS 2020, et bien sur celles du pilote et du cineaste! Merci pour le partage Jean-Louis
  13. Many thanks everyone for your answers. I believe that Little Nav Map will become handy! JLB
  14. My plane is always visible in the VFR map when I follow a flight plan Not so when flying a bush trip whether it is a stock,or a downloaded bush trip Any idea on how to correct this? Jean-Louis
  15. With that last update the loading time went from 2 min to 3.5 min Anybody else had the same bad surprise? J Louis
  16. Yep, it's there! Take off from Santa Monica Municipal on 03, take a 020 or so heading for 9 miles and voila. J-Louis
  17. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise on the 32NX It would have taken weeks to figure that out on my own Best regards JLB
  18. Great advice ! Thanks a lot for the tip... Now I have to figure our why it takes 5 minutes for the main 2 avionic to show something JLB
  19. Actually you can move a bigger folder such as "Packages" which is in the Local Cache from the Cdrive to the E as long as you change the destination drive name in the UserCFG.opt file... I was just asking if someone knows whether there was a specific line to modify somewhere to make the program look for Community in the E drive instead of C Thanks for the suggestion
  20. Once Community has been moved from C: to E:, how do we let FS2020 know where to look for add on liveries/sceneries? Thanks for your advice J-Louis
  21. Nice surprise in the last update.. the A32NX is available for free in the Market Place Here is the issue: I can tune in my transponder without problem in the stock A320, but I cannot in the FlyByWire...So when ATC asks me to change my transponder code, I cannot do it in A32 the way I'm doing it in the A320.. Any advice will be welcome. Thanks in advance J-Louis
  22. Thank you both, I'll try to move packages from C to E this week end J-Louis
  23. Like many of us, my C drive where FS2020 is installed is getting fuller... I am considering moving the packages folder from my C; (SSD) to my E (non SSD) which has much more available space. My question is: should I expect a loss in smoothness, frame rates moving the package folder out of an SSD drive to an old-fashioned HD? Or do you think the drive where the packages folder is has no impact on the overall performance of the simulator, since FS2020 is still located on the C drive. Thanks for your input J-Louis
  24. That was a great advice Tim, not only because the download from Google Drive was so easy, but because the latest file is a zip one .. I hate these rar files since I have to extract them in Community (if I extract earlier, I cannot drag them into Community) Again merci beaucoup for your directions and quick response J-Louis
