Hi Everyone, I've added a second camera into the mix to give a side view of the flightdeck, looking from the First Officers perspective. Up next I'm going to try and add online chat while I fly via discord, then I hope to finally go live on youtube and/or twitch. Today's flight is from Key West to San Juan. Ran into a few clouds on the way down, looked nice having the clouds rushing passed the windscreen. We then touch down onto runway 10, followed by a short taxi to the gate.

Hi Everyone, My first flight since backlighting and updating my throttle quad. Zibo worked out real nice, only noticed one issue setting up for landing, it flew right past a waypoint... At that point I took over until at the gate. Looks like I'm trying to record too much at once, the exterior stutters you see... about 98% don't exist in the sim.

Hi Everyone, Just testing some of the latest updates to the stream, still have a few issues to work out but she is getting there. Todays flight is a Skywest flight, flight # 4798 with nonstop service from Albuquerque (KABQ) Gate A3 to Denver (KDEN) Gate A77. We takeoff from runway 8 and leave Albuquerque airspace via JEMEZ3 departure. We approach Denver International (KDEN) airport via TBARR1 arrival, with a runway 26 landing. The flight concluded with a taxi to Gate A77.

Hi Everybody, Welcome aboard.... this is an Alaska Airlines Flight (flight number 1172), with nonstop service from Portland Oregon to Phoenix Arizona. We depart Portland International (Rwy 28L) via WHAMY4 and arrive in Phoenix Sky Harbor (Rwy 26) via BRUSR1. Just some minor audio bugs that still need to be worked out along with the same A/T disconnect @ 80knots issue I've had for some time now. Other than that, it was a nice enjoyable flight!

Hi Everybody, This is Southwest Airlines flight #416 out of San Francisco with non stop service to Las Vegas. We're parked at gate 51B and we taxi to runway 10R for a SHANY3 departure. Our flight into Las Vegas begins with the SUNST4 arrival followed by a landing on runway 26R. We then taxi to Terminal C for a gate C8 arrival.

Hi Everybody, I know the flight information in the video shows a flight from Miami (KMIA) to New York (KLGA), I only entered in these locations to see what it was going to look like when the moving map display was finished. I'm actually testing the PFD, ND and Moving Map to confirm they work correctly and they are not difficult to see/read while streaming and/or while I'm recording. I actually land in Jacksonville (KJAX) Florida.

Hi Everybody, Been trying out a few different makers of OBS for our live flight segments. Seems as though this one is the best setup I've found for now... I'll keep looking! Not crazy about the look of the closeup displays, will try and clean them up a bit or figure out something else.

Hi Everyone, Had a few issues with the Elgato (Camlink 4K) software not connecting to Youtube..... It kept telling me to create a channel, then it logs me into my channel. Any ideas on how to fix this, I'm all ears. Anyway, I'm using some new OBS software in its place and the audio looks like it needs some work with this software. Have to look at the two system crashes I had on the right monitor during the short flight. I believe the stutters I had were caused by the left and right external visuals pointing to my center extrnal and not the server computer. Few bugs to iron out, but the live flight is looking nice.

Hi Everybody, With my Day/Night lighting effects, sky colors and contrast adjustments just about done, it was time to test the audio setup and put it all together for my first live flight with the new setup. I depart Spokane Washing (KGEG) ORBX True Earth HD in use and head to Seattle Washington, with a 16 center landing. Hi Everybody, It looks like I found the issue with the audio surges. It turned out to be Realtek effects causing the issue, so that's been corrected. I also have my camera setup where the flight deck will change brightness based on the light picked up. It adds an additional bit of realism to the recordings. I think that does it, I may run a few more short flights on the side to check a few things.... But I think we are ready to go live.

Hi Everybody, Looks like all the audio is now included into the mix. As some of you can tell I did some additional work to my daytime lighting effects, I added a bit of yellow into the mix... It was a bit too blue-blue/grey for me, now I have to go and try and fix the sky colors again. That will complete the day and night time lighting effects I've been working on for my setup. She is getting there.

Hi Everybody, Well, it looks like I have about 90% of the audio complete, I just need to add ground and the com radios/live ATC into the mix. Daytime is starting to look good as well, may need to work on the sky color a bit more. Not sure if you noticed during my short flight, the lighting in the deck actually changes brightness with the direction of the aircraft and the sun. Pretty Cool, but that effect is being done by my camera. I think the quality is almost good enough for live flights.

Hi Everybody, As most of you know (that have been following my progress) I've been working on night lighting for some time... with that just about finished I started work on my daytime lighting effects and found a few issues that I didn't like. The first being the transition from day into night and vice versa, In order to fly via dawn/day - dusk/night I would have to manually turn MaxxFX on or off depending on the time. Although I had worked out everything to turning on/off just one plugin (MaxxFX), I still had to get up and manually make the changes. Until someone in the forums made a lua script for me. Now I don't have to get in/out of the flight deck anymore to make the changes! Here are the results of Ian's labor. Thanks IanQ, you the man!

Hi Everybody, Still working on my daytime lighting, just wanted to make sure I didn't mess up my night lights. I left Jacksonville Florida (KJAX), but I accidently erased that part of the video from the memory card and I don't know how to get it back. So instead of KJAX to KATL.... We have a KATL landing. 8-) I also don't live ATC, forgot to turn it on.... Sorry. I should of used the good camera lens, I used my wide angle Rokinon lens to get the entre deck, but it's not as sharp as my Sony.

Hi Everybody, With my night lighting effects just about done, it's time to start on my daytime lighting effects. If I can get them close to real as my night time effects, I'd be ecstatic!!!!! The left monitor show plane XP11.51b1 without any additional lighting effects, the left monitor has my night lighting effects installed. I'm working on the center monitor to get the day time effects I'm looking for and then I'll transfer those settings (they may need some minor adjustments) to the outer displays.

Hi Everyone, I still have to adjust my left monitor a bit, the color is off a touch... Right visual looks good. Once I finish that I'll look at the landing and taxi lighting and try to get those to the brightness I want.
