Ok so I was looking at the game tag at least I think it was it showed my status as online and then below that it showed servers Automatic west USA 28ms East USA 85ms North Europe 149ms West Europe 170ms Are these speeds and can you pick any of them Southeast Asia 197ms

So here are some specs i7 2600K 16gb ram don't know the speed gtx 1060 6gb card. So with those specs what would be the one thing to upgrade that would get me the best bang for my buck?

Monitor is definitely plugged into card, I haven't added anything the only thing I did was the small update last week my hardware was running this sim from day 1 on ultra settings that were determined during the installation by the sim

I am asuming that I am connected to my card GTX 1060 6GB, How would I check. Also Tim is there any reason to reinstall the sim, and if I did what kind of mess does that create

So I repared the sim when i clicked on it it almost immediateley put a check mark on it. Raven suggested resetting windows to an earlier date the only one that I saw was in setting it says it would erase apps so I did not do that. I started the sim and went in to the graphics settings and changed all the settings from high to low and relauched, the graphics changed but the performance was the same, still bad stutters. I will tell you that when I installed the sim it set those same settings to ultra. I will mention this I dont know if it means anything, when the sim loads and is on the cessna screen the progress bar at the bottom shots across the screen pretty fast untill it gets to within about 2 inches of the end and just sits there about 2 or 3 minutes and then finishes

Sorry Tim I'm not sure what a VPN is and why would that change after the update?

I have been flight simming for over 30 years I downloaded the new sim on the first day it was available from the Microsoft store. It installed without any issues, I lauched the sim and it flew without a hitch. The visuals were impressive. I stayed up with all the updates all was good untill last week a small update was detected on the startup screen and downloaded it right from there, it did not take me to the microsoft store. It installed and I restarter the pc and the si. When I restarted the sim it took almost twice the time to load and after it finally did the sim stuttered so bad it was unflyable. I had not read that you should empty your community folder before you update so there was stuff in that folder, I closed the sim and emptied that folder, restarted the pc and the sim with no change. I made sure msfs was listed in my windows defender exclusions. I also rolled back graphics settings it made no difference. My internet speed is 100+, I don"t know what else to try.

One thing I noticed about this small update is that when I loaded the sim and it says checking for updates it found this update and downloaded it and installed it right from the same screen, it did not go to the Microsoft store as it usually does, does that sound right

This all happened yesterday after a small update, before all worked great. I emptied the community folder, updated my driver for the gpu. Stutters bad rolled back graphics settings none of it made any difference

Set to unlimited speed test 100+ mbs

Checked my defender folder everything there is ok, rolled back my graphics settings, changed planes to the king air no change still stuttering

So I removed everything from the community folder restarted the pc and the sim, load time improved a little but sim still stutters bad, I turned off develiper mode restarted. No change.

Tim, I did the update and did not empty my community folder so how would I proceed at this point, I am experiencing what you described above.

The sim has been working for me pretty good, today when I started the program it checked for updates like it always does and found one very small update, it installed the update and continued to load the program, it took twice as long to load as it usually does so I restarted the computer and the program. Now the program takes twice as long to load and when it finally finishes it is unplayable because it stutters so bad. Does anybody have a clue? Thanks in advance for any help

I did go into controls and everything looks good in there. I have learned something since I posted this, this is happening with all aircraft.

Afte the last update when I fly the a320 and get to the airport I cannot shut down the engines, crtl +shift +E used shut down the engines now that doesnt work, I tried shutting everything inside down engines are still running. Also on the longitude when I start the engines at an airport the gear fold up when im just sitting there and wont come back down. Any ideas

I updated this morning after I did I toke a flight in the a320, I programed the fmc as I always do, I took off and reached altitude and then the plane flew around in a circle And would not follow the flight plan, I restarted the sim and let the program program the fmc and it worked fine. Any ideas?

So when I start a flight everything with the joystick works fine, taxi to runway and takeoff all fine, when I land joystick rudder control is very iratic to the point that I can't make it to the gate, it doesn't matter which plane I'm in. If I restart the sim it's fine until I fly and land. Is this a known issue?

So here one of the problems I have after the update. The cessna Longitude when I go through the startup procedure as soon as I start the engines the gear go up and wont com back down, this is sitting in the parking spot. Have we heard of any updates for this plane?

I updated MSFS this morning and the first flight I loaded was with the a320 when I went through the start up I could not get the fmc to come on. Before it would come on when I switched the power on. I loaded all versions including the Stock neo with same results. Has anyone had this result and how did you get it to switch on. Thanks for any help you can give me

A couple questions on the a320 fms first I have watched a couple videos but they didn't cover what I was trying to find out. When I go the int. Page the 3 lines of coordinate are blank it say at the bottom of the page gps lost and the main cckpit screen says hdg. Not available in red. Second what is the format for entering your ils runway and freq. Into the fms

I purchased the sim the first day it was available and downloaded it, I have been flying ever since I received it. I have flown in all kinds of weather situations with live weather turned on. I have flown in all kinds of storms with clouds, lightning, wind but have yet to have a drop of rain hit the windshied. Is there a setting that I am missing?
