  1. Have you checked the Addon Scenery folder being activated in yr Scenery Library? Stupid question, I know, but it has happened before it wasn’t... Wim
  2. Did you notice the "Rebuilding scenery..." (or whatever?) pop-up? It should actually be saved in the Addon Scenery\scenery folder, but maybe that's what you meant? Wim
  3. I have crash detection off ‘cos of airport traffic collisions. Btw if you make a bad landing even without crash detection, you’ll know!!! Wim
  4. That's a message from FSX Flying Tips? If so, just turn them OFF in Settings/Realism. IMO they're not made for anything just a tiny bit out of standard/stock. Wim
  5. He didn't mention "freeware". I have the payware ISG gauges, which include a Honeywell. Which for me stands for Next Generation or NextGen, a term introduced by Boeing, not PMDG. Anyway, in the end when/if the OP reacts, we'll all learn that he tries to fly the PMDG 737NGX with it's genuine PMDG FMC, and he forgot to push the LNAV button . Wim
  6. For what sake would anyone combine the freeware FMC and the PMDG 737NGX? Neither products are mentioned by the OP btw... @OP: more info please... Wim
  7. Lemme guess: you had a taildragger as default aircraft. Wim
  8. You’re confusing with Ice AI. Very off topic btw... Wim
  9. Try unchecking “Aircraft cast ground shadows”. Or leave it, and check at an airport for which you have no addon scenery installed. Wim
  10. What I've learned from this thread: I will never ever again give remarks concerning "stock data", as my stock data has changed. I regularly update my sim scenery database from the known Hervé Sors website, here are my findings: - in "my sim" (let's call it that for now) Sunshine Coast has been renamed to YBSU, and still has ATIS 119.80 (from 2010 on, that's historically correct) (pic from LittleNavMap, which reads the local FSX database) - in "my sim" Brisbane has no conflicting freqs on 119.80. If you check current YBBN charts, you'll see these freqs are actually up-to-date. (pic from LittleNavMap as well) As said, just my thoughts... Never would have noticed this otherwise. I never sim fly in Australia. Wim
  11. Parking codes are for Airlines, not aircraft types. If you mean Parking Radius, I’d take 33m to be safe. Parking type GATE or RAMP (or both) Wim
  12. ??? Another one for YOU imo ;). As you've solved the previous one through Traffic Global (no details given), and the jammed freq is 119.80 again (I don't believe in coincidences) you'll be able to solve this one as well, me thinks. I don't have Traffic Global and not planning to get it, but I did some reading. If I was you, I'd have a closer look at C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\TrafficGlobal\AirportFacilities folder, to see what magic the developers are performing there. Wim
  13. Gold = Deluxe + Acceleration. Deluxe also has more aircraft than Standard, and includes the SDK as well. Wim
  14. I've opened stock KMGE with ADE, and can't find a trace of ATIS in the default airport. So my guess is you have an addon active? Find it, disable it temporarily and you'll be able to complete your flight. Wim
  15. Running FTX Central just once could solve this IIRC. Wim
  16. Sorry to contradict all other replies. When I bought my SSD, I got depresssed by the eventuality of having to reinstall some/all my addons. Moved the whole bunch to the SSD, then made a symbolic link to the original location on my D: drive. Had to reinstall nada, everything works... Wim
  17. From the AeroSoft forums: "Search for a file called TahitiX_AirTraffic.bgl on your system..." No further indications on where to find it, but I guess you'll manage? Just rename it to *.bgl.bak [EDIT]It's in \Scenery\World\scenery if my german doesn't fool me Wim
  18. +1. Are you using an addon for Papeete? Wim
  19. Yes. First prerequisite is a correct installation of the FSX SDK. You need FSX Deluxe or Acceleration. Dunno about Steam. Installation is explained here https://www.fsdeveloper.com/wiki/index.php?title=SDK_Installation_(FSX) Read the article a number of times before actually starting, then follow it TO THE LETTER. Wim (also Belgium)
  20. You don't need to edit anything, just learn the difference between Indicated Airspeed, True Airspeed and Ground Speed. Wim
  21. You've downloaded an A330 without VC. I'm not interested in the download location/link, but maybe others are. Wim
  22. An automatic upgrade from XP to W10 was never provided by Microsoft. No idea why you're looking for excuses for running W10. Wim
  23. Made that suggestion already in his other thread https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?317350-AI-not-showing-up-at-certain-Add-on-airports Wim
  24. Wow, except for Schiphol, that’s my setup as well. Just one thought: some airport scenery installers give the option between “Static traffic” and “Airlines”. Do you remember if you had that option and if so, did you choose “Airlines”? Personally, I can’t remember it from my install... Wim
  25. a) what AI package(s) are you using? b) what addons are you using for the airports? c) is “Aircraft casts ground shadows” enabled? Wim
