  1. All sorted now folks. It was a case of me not setting up my Cirrus cockpit camera views currently in the numeric keypad. I realised that some of them already had some control surface actions already present which must have conflicted with my new camera view bindings, so all I did was delete all these to leave just the camera view for that particular key. I thought I'd taken all this into account when setting up the views, but apparently not. Funny thing is some other aircraft bindings (e.g. TBM) still have some of the same original set up, yet it is not adversly affected as the Cirrus was.
  2. FX Cirrus Vision Jet G2 query with route set.

Why does my Cirrus fly away on a route (with SID) perfectly ok, with all the autopilot set up correctly (I think) then decides to go into a steep bank and goes out of control.

I have emptied the community folder except for the Working Title G3000 upgrade (latest version)

I have on occasion experienced this behaviour before on another aircraft, so maybe not the Cirrus.

    Any ideas anyone?

  3. Several A/P controls allow for swapping between managed and selected modes. This can be done by moving the appropriate switches up or down according to some (oldish) videos. In reality I can’t get this to work despite using both Legacy and Modern modes. I am using the latest FBW update. Another example is the Baro Reference control which says “Pull for Standard” Neither do the latest on screen tool tips give the controls needed to achieve correct operation. I am getting the same result using the default Airbus

    Advice please.

  4. Just tried that, no good :(

I have now tried most of the Zendesk advice without any luck. Still having to download very small chunks before the dreaded loop appears.

Not tried Netlimiter as I do not wish to pay for software which will only be used once. The free alternatives are far too technical at first glance. Why would I need to do this anyway when it was never an issue before?

Despite posting on four Facebook MSFS forums in addition to this one, nobody seems to have a reliable solution.

Even if I reinstall the sim (I have the dvd version) I am still faced with huge updates when presumably the looping issue will occur again?

THe only solution seems to be sticking with 2 or 3 updates at a time then rebooting/restarting the sim. This will take forever though.

Also why is this occuring just with this update 5 ? Some of the previous updates where pretty big and I never had any "looping" issues.

Still looking for a effective answer to my problem

  5. Tried:

    1) Turn off Defender scanning

    2) Network reset

    3) Disable IPV6

    4) Disable Window auto tuning (whatever that does!)

    5) Checked for bad RAM - ok

It gets to a certain file and then keeps downloading this file continously and the gb downloaded keeps showing that the same operation is repeated continually. This happens with a minute so when nothing gets downloadedand freezes at say only 100mb download but occasionally might go for several minutes and successfully download say 1 gb.

At this rate it will take days and hundreds of attempts to complete the job.

    Help!

  6. Downloading seems to be working with regard to download speed etc. Trouble is it only works for a few minutes before it seems to go into a loop, despite the download apparently continuing. Last attempt showed 7/251 and 1.13gb at which it stuck

    Deleted the Community folder.

Is it still a case of server overload, and if so why does it still seem to be downloading?

  7. If you're using the Working Title Garmin mods, you need to update them to the latest versions. If not, try installing them from the links at the bottom of the Github page here: https://github.com/Working-Title-MSFS-Mods/fspackages

Thanks for the tips. Both the Working Tital and the Kenmore versions were "up to date" according to the Contents Manager. Is this the same process as your suggestion?

Perhaps I could just remove these two versions and start again (or ignore them)?

  8. I have 3 versions of the TBM, default, Kenmore and Aviators Club.

All 3 are suffering major cockpit issues after the latest update. Altimeter and speed not working. On start up oil pressure and fuel pressure are showing red. The PFD/MFD is locked on the map screen and fails to respond to any inputs at all on either. TAWS TEST has appeared on screen, which has never happened before. The plane actually still flies ok, but the cockpit seems to have gone crazy. This only seems to affect the TBM fortunately.

Should I delete the Kenmore and Aviators Club versions from the Contents Manager and perhaps reinstall? Also, can you easily delete the default TBM and reinstall, and if so how?

    Any solutions anyone?

  9. I am trying to run MSFS without having the “Insert Disc !” message every time.

I have had some success using Daemon Tools Lite to create a copy of disc 1. I have saved the copy in both MDX and ISO formats.

Using both of these formats has been successful, but only for a short period of time, after which it is back to using the disc 1 again.

    Any solutions anyone?

  10. It seems to work for me in the CJ4. Can't imagine what would make it not show up. I just planned a flight and it worked both GPS Direct and High Altitude Airways.

    Problem solved!

I had the Working Title CJ4 v0.8.3 mod installed (the current one) andd that was the problem, as it seems to not load up the plan. Deleting it restored the flight plan loading ok.

You need to delve into thedepths of the FMC :-

RECALL (game/SB option in IDX > page2 ROUTE MENU.

This info was in the Mod changes file
