  1. No more mandatory updates enough is enough, ASOBO you fail every time and cause nothing but grief!!!! this update upset Kaspersky with lots of malicious files, enough is enough your not fit for purpose anymore ASOBO!! I for one are sick of it! I just got back from a lovely week in Corfu and greeted this morning with another minority... give the sim to another software house for Christ sake!!!!!

most of these updates should have been sorted before it's release, its become way beyond a joke now.....

Running Bitdefender and the latest version of Windows 10, I had no issues whatsoever. The problem lies (unfortunately) with your system.

  2. FS2004 Maule M-7-260

One of my favourite models was the Maule M-7-260:

I really enjoy flying around remote areas such as Alaska and BC and so this model enabled me to do just that.

Great visibility, reasonable performance, coupled with a go "almost" anywhere ability.

If you like the look of Crawford Bay, check out Frank Betts version for FS2004 in the file library:

  3. Good morning!!

I found this website from a recent news article and thought I would share it with you:

    https://historicengland.org.uk/images-books/archive/collections/aerial-photos/

You can now explore over 400,000 photographs from the Historic England Archive.

Fascinating stuff...amazing how much things have changed in such a short time.

Don't forget to read the section "How to use this map".

    Cheers

    Dom

  4. Dear Dominik,

I like that Flightsim.com still offers seperate sections for each simulator. To stay with FS2004 is mostly a result of our own yearlong expierience. That results in the fact, that we luckely very seldom have missionaries here in the fs2004 section telling us diehard FS9ers what we do have to like instead.

On the other hand I guess the MSFS fanboys in their section apprechiate that too, to swim in their own lake with no sharks around. They will swim in another lake anyhow some years ahead.

    (FS2004-Team)

    Hi Dedl,

The MSFS Screenshot Forum encompasses all versions of "Microsoft Flight Simulator", hence its name.

Like many flight simmers, I too have shared screenshots from various sims over the years (FS2004 being one of them) and find it to be a wonderful place in which to share flight sim related imagery.

Sharing our experiences of flight simming with others, is one of the reasons why the hobby is so vibrant :-)

    Cheers

    Dominic

  5. Sorry, changed my mind on the idea I had here. I don't have enough time to waste on the idea as it could drag on!

Here's a screenshot anyhow just for something to look at. haha

Mark, I know FS2004 is your sim of choice (we all have a favorite we go to), so why not promote it in the MSFS Screenshot Forum?

It's a place where people simply appreciate what the hobby offers.

  7. The events abroad are indeed truly awful, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected.

However, please be mindful that this is the result of certain individuals in the Russian government and not the people of Russia as a whole.

  8. Let's keep this nice please, or I'm afraid I'm going to have to close yet another thread.

This is a place where you should all respect each other, after all, you all enjoy the same thing...flight simulation

Having forums where people just get angry each at other does not help FlightSim.com at all. At the end of the day...you guys make or break the site, so it's up to you.

  9. It really is kinda incredible how someone always needs to moan. lol

I posted as general interest. VR is a big thing for MSFS. I know most of the threads I've read are either totally for or totally against VR. This topic is a users experience of VR who is neither for or against it. While not specifically using MSFS, it is VR and I think something can still be taken from the thread.

Appears to me you are simply pro VR and cr*ppy I didn't like it and don't like to read of anyone saying so. It's the exact reason I posted the thread, some may like a more neutral opinion even if it's not specifically using MSFS.

Moved to the "Outer Marker" as the topic is not directly related to MSFS.
