  1. I was getting between 30 to 38 FPS. I downloaded Wise Game Booster at https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-game-booster.html and now I am getting 40 to 50 FPS with almost no stutters. I have the sim in Ultra and Render Scaling= 90. Give it a try it might help your FPS some. My rig: AMD Phenom II, 3.40 GHz, 20GB Ram, Nvidia 1080 GTX, PS: Run the Booster before starting the Sim.
  2. This thing is so full of bugs. I loaded the game after many times, but now I can't get my lefy aileron axis assigned!!! Any ideas?
  3. I have too many problems and would like to re-install the game but can't find a way in the files nor in MS Store, Thank you.
  4. I think the Search feature is this Sim, Sucks!!!! They should have kept the concept as per FSX or P3d having to write every time you want to go someplace is very backward. And so far I have not found a way to Change to another airport without going to the Start Menu, totally out of modern times. I hope someone makes an addon to do this....
  5. FSX will always be popular, it has so Many Addons in every category, its very easy to develop for it and runs perfectly, you can count on more new stuff will continue to be added and for the price of it in Steam it will be with us for many years.
  6. You should check the Minimum Specs for the Sim, you are probable much below them.
  7. Unplug any other peripheral you have like pedals etc,, start the sim and go to Controls. It should find your joystick or yoke with a big question mark, click and it will take you to the setup screen. In the Filter window move to Essentials, you get the list on the right. Start with the Flight control surfaces--Primary controls surfaces, now choose Aileron Left and click on the black left window which takes you to a large screen >Aileron Left (Roll Left) and move your yoke or joystick to the left, a little notice will pop in there, click validate. Now you re back at the main list---Move your joystick or yoke to the left and the little sign will Light up----that means you have programmed the Aileron correctly to the Left---Do this for the rest of the Primary control Surfaces and you are done. Continue this way for all your Yoke or Joystick assignments. Be sure to adjust Sensitivity for all surfaces.
  8. To change "funeral music" ---General-Sound-Music Selection....But don't jump, you get the old FSX music and another funeral home melody...
  9. Thank you, I found it.....They shot this too early, no way about it, but yes it looks beautiful...
  10. Sir, the SDK was not available to many Alph testers. And it is not finished yet. Obviously the big firms got quite abit of help for their development of scenery etc... Now you are informed.
  11. I have been with the Apha for months battling along with millions of bugs, and as most of you Love the graphics and it flies well But it has so Many Bugs, the fleas in a camel's ass are nothing compared. Setting up the controls is easy but the nomenclature is probably "EnglisFrench" whatever that is. I set up all the controls and everything went smoothly But on the next start they were Gone!!...This thing is still very Alpha, they should have waited a while to sort out some So basic stuff but I guess the Money started getting thin somewhere. Where is the SDK?, has anyone found it?...I'll keep paddling but this should have come with a Spitfire RR engine not this three cylinder doodlebug. Oh great the non existing Manual or pamphlet...So sorry state.---By the way you can change the default "funeral home music" for another noty so hot but more "airplanish"!....
  12. Tried this, but it will not accept a paste and writing the coordinates does not work
  13. Anyone, Where can the SDK be found and downloaded or be able to check and start learning it? Thanks
  14. What's the procedure, ithis thing is half baked!!, thank you I"ll try. This is basic if you want to go to avery specific place like an airstrip out in the jungle, which is Not in the sim...Thank You
  15. Has anyone found how to start at a location by giving the Latitude and Longitud of it? Thanks
  16. Why do you worry what version someone gets? You must be a MS salesperson or you are nuts?
  17. Notam: To all RCS WW2 ATC Pilots and future recruits: Many hours have been flown by many pilots and all Theaters of the War have been covered. By Dec 31 the Special Mission " Long Chain" with its 6 photo real airfields will end and the Missions will be accomplished. This will be the last mission for the year 1942. Naknek Air Base has been uploaded in the Alaska Route for pilots to enjoy in these last days of the year. Its up and running bringing troops to the Alaska defence bases. Be on the lookout for C-47s near the main runway. The War continues and new bases are being built all over the ATC world. Heavy fighting in the Pacific will need that our pilots bring many supplies to those bases. Australia is receiving many troops and that is putting ATC in high gear, do expect many flights in the new year. That's it guys, have a Merry Christmas where ever you have landed and a Happy New Year flying for RCS WW2 ATC... The RCS WW2 ATC Team
  18. November 26th 1942--After a Month or so of our Commanding General orders to start flights and Missions, the pilots of RCS WW2 ATC have completed over 30+ Flights in 27 Missions in the Caribbean Theater, South America Theater, South Atlantic Theater, Africa Theater, India and China Theaters. Most have sent their photos together with their interesting Flight Reports making our Missions a real success. We now have over 20 Photo Real Bases all over the map and currently the most important Mission is "Mission Long Chain", which is taking supplies and spare parts to five North Africa Bases where our A-20s and P-40s are presently fighting Rommel. Several pilots are participating and Reports are started to come into the debriefing rooms at the bases. New Weather Themes for FSX,FSXSE and P3DV4 will be sent to all pilots in the first week of December. The South Pacific Theater is relatively quiet at the moment but as our Navy and Marines start rolling into many islands we are sure ATC will be much needed... We are ready for more pilots, presently 29 are on the Roster and if we can get to 35 by the end of the year our planes will have the needed crews to help with this Dam War!!! 19. Mr. loki says" I think there are some good indicators this isn't going to be another Flight. For example, the project lead for Flight thought 20,000 airports was too confusing for users and cut the sim down to Hawaii at launch. Asobo, on the other hand have frequently talked about having more than 40,000 airports. I have a feeling the big issues with the new sim will be along the lines of performance of all the new features, and people not getting the features they personally want at launch (even though MS has said they are committed to building this for the next 10 years)." I admire your optimism!!!!...:) :) :)...
  20. I hope the SDK gets put out for "All" developers--"All" as oon as possible. I keep remembering the promises the "Flight" Team made. I am, Yes!!, very skeptic...."very".
  21. Well, that's that. The problem I see is that Not making available to all developers, well known and professional ones who make addons for pay, is not a good policy IF you really want for All to participate with their products. Anyway, we'll see what happens in the near or long future with their policy. Getting to know the ins and outs of software one works on top of i or with it is not an easy nor fast way. The Past of MS with other developers has no 5 star ending so to have Skepticism is not being elitist as Robin says from South Africa. Many developers live from their sales Robin. Good day.
  22. As a Developer I find very disappointing that MS is Not providing the Alpha or Beta of their supposedly new Sim to developers who ask for it. They know it is hard, sometimes very hard, to set up for a new simulator if you are developing under the present available sims. But as always MS does strange things and hardly try to help others with their belief that helping possible competition in any way, repeat in any way, is a bad thing. That's usually the thinking pattern of "Elites".
  23. We now have Twelve Photo Real ATC Bases for download. These cover the whole ATC world with the latest being The large Stephenville base in New Foundland, a stopover for B-17s and other large planes flying to England. We welcome pilots who want to fly WW2 Aircraft all over the world since 1940 to 1946. Twenty Six pilots are doing so right now. Thanks everyone for your support. Latest Air Base provided by Lt. Ed Ekridge, Join us Today and help win the War. http://rcsww2skies.jigsy.com
