Bill - I am old enough to have experienced the good old days - and you just reminded me. But there now is a whole new generation of passengers who never knew them!
-
No I didn't, but I forgot to put one after mine :)
-
Unfortunately you cannot stop in midair either to recharge or refuel.
-
The advantage is for the guy that turns left from home to go 10 miles to the airport, or turns right from home to go downtown to the office - and can also have some flying fun on weekends.
-
While many new developments, such as electric planes, will have to face many problems during development, I am quite sure that patience and new and improved technologies - especially for batteries - will make this technology the future standard at least for shorter range aircraft. The day may come when we wonder how we could put up with those heavy, noisy, dirty engines that sometimes would quit on you!
-
I'm sure the engines are fine, my concern was the weight, resulting movement stress and vibration with potential metal fatique. Those wings look pretty slim!
-
Yes - but you have transportation for short and long trips at greater speed. And you can save the money for a car.
-
I get nervous looking at the thin wings having to support those big engines with vibrations plus having to pull the fuselage forward at speed, but then what do I know?

MalwareBytes has kept me out of trouble for years. Good Luck!

I agree, but these things have not yet been in practical, every-day use, which is needed to sort out the necessary rules and features as well as those that don' work. It will be interesting to see how it all develops.

Thank you Zippy - that one is even better!

Hi Bill,
The Electra pictures brought back some good memories. In the 1960's I worked in Rochester, NY, but did heavy business in Fort Worth, TX. I used to fly frequently to Dallas via Chicago. The usual flight from Rochester to Chicago was on a Business Class Electra. It had a curved sofa in the rear of the cabin, and young, pretty Stewardesses served free cocktails in nice miniskirts.
Those were the days!

Sorry - the video of the flying car, that I recommended, seems to have disappeared from the article!

Thanks Randy - I will look into it.

I have the same problem, and Aerolite gave me the same answer you used. However, does that setting screw up control of all other planes? I stopped using the Aerolite for that reason

Outstanding videos of NYC - very interesting and enjoyable!

I think people would complain if you fly over their heads! :)

How about the many bridges that cars cross underneath driving on the water?
-
I cannot believe that the heli's behavior in the two more difficult modes have anything to do with reality. Even in "Easy" it is a pain in you-know-where to fly!
