    Hi have the same issue going on but i am getting stuck at 97% installed, it gets stuck on decompressing fs-base-cgl-0.1.63 fspackage.009 ....... I have now tried installing again 6 times Let me know if you have any luck, i have tried everything

    I have tried all of the steps suggested several times. I seem to be stuck on .............. a specific decompression file/folder I have deleted the folder and tried to update, decompress again but same thing happens again

    I saw this on a forum for decompression install problems ............ I had this exact issue. I managed to solve it by going to my install folder and deleting the last 4 files that were modified (they added up to around 2GiB). I then launched MFS again, and it started updating again for a total of around 5GiB (the 3.68 + the 2 I deleted. Everything worked fine after that. No need to uninstall everything. WHAT EXACTLY ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT ?????? IF SOMEONE COULD CLARIFY THIS PLEASE ??????

    I have now tried to install MSFS 6 times and it keeps getting hung up in a loop trying to decompress folders. I have tried everything i could find on the internet with no luck including reformatting the SSD the flightsimulator is on. Anyone else have this issue that they have been able to resolve ? Thanks

    The dots still move, it just shuts down at 97%....... I have tried this 5 times now

    yes my firewall and antivirus are disabled, someone suggested upgrading from windows 10 home to windows 10 pro but that is like $130 canadian dollars, and ..... it worked fine before on windows 10 home

    I had MSFS2020 installed with no issues until a few weeks ago when it wouldn't update. So i deleted it and reformatted my D: drive Now i am trying to get it installed but it seems to download/install to a point then just shuts down on its own. Is there any hope of ever getting this to work again or am i just out of luck ? Has anyone out there had this issue and eventually got it to work ?

    i formatted my harddrive (everything gone) now trying to reinstall as if i just bought it, that should have worked NO ????

    I am trying to re-install MSFS2020 since i could not update it, but after formatting the D: drive and downloading the installer i am stuck on downloading ...... Asorbo-aircraft-c172sp-as1000-livery-aviators I do not know why when i close the program to download i still see it running in the background when i do the task manager I tried all the comments i could find online and even run in admin mode but no change please help

    i seem to be getting stuck on installation all the time with this file Asorbo-aircraft-c172sp-as1000-livery-aviators i tried exiting MSFS, deleteing the folder and try installing again but to no avail

    yes it asked for the location to install and then I got stuck on this screen This is the same screen i got when it was installed before and i was just trying to update it I am running windows 10 home

    I deleted MSFS off my D: drive and am trying to reinstall it (going through the microsoft store) but it wont re-install, it hangs up after like 20% downloaded. Is there an issue with the server ???? Thanks i wish this could be played offline sometimes

    After the last update i cannot get the a320 autopilot to work (i can click on the AP button) but it will not follow if i set heading and speed and vertical using knobs. Anyone have an idea or same issue with this ? I am not using flightplan just manually changing course, speed, vertical. thanks

    Get a good computer and you will have very little issues, i am pretty satisfied with, it i got the standard edition. I just wish the default airports were better and more airliners available but that will come with time.

    Ya when i check the frequency say KTPA 01L it appears on my PFD but only the localizer bubble is seen, no glideslope bubble I am learning the A320 still, used to boeing but i assume i have everything clicked ????? Nav button clicked ON, ILS clicked ON correct ILS frequency tuned in and set on left side of display FD button ON and LS button ON, anything i am missing ??? Thanks

    OK, yesterday i wanted to do ILS approaches at KTPA runway 1L/1R and tried 19L/19R, there was no glideslope. Went to CYYZ 06L and glideslope worked. Tried both the default A320 and FlyByWire stable A320.

    when i tune in ILS frequency at large airports using a320 why does the glideslope ball not show up on some runways (but will show up on others) ? thanks
