    So I am able to fly for about an hour or 2 before the. crash (freeze up) and BSOD and different codes each time. I am running MSFS with no weather, no antivirus I know it's not hardware cause I can run XPLANE 11 while multitasking on computer

    I did downclock it to 4.5 and it crashed, would going down to 3.8 make any difference.???? I can fly for an hour or more when it will crash while in cruise. Are you getting any crashes or not.? THANKS

    Got MSFS BSOD crash again....... Flightstick unplugged, CPU dropped down to 4.5, Ram set to 3000, and running it on a nvme drive, no antivirus From reading posts either...... MSFS does not work well with. RTX 3000 series cards OR. It is a unstable, crappy program that should never have been released until tested properly My XPLANE 11 runs perfectly fine, hummmmm!!!!!!!!     So I might have found the problem of MSFS freezing while in mid flight and computer getting bsod...... Crash usually happens when panning around from outside view during flight. It seems so far to only happen when my CH Flightstick is plugged into USB port wheather it's 2.0 or 3.0 I have resorted to using flightstick only for taxiing and takeoff and landing. I unplug and plug it in when needed for short durations. Any way to fix this.? Thanks

    But the Samsung 980 pro is 4th Gen and would be no better than 970 plus which is 3rd Gen. The m2 slots only go up to 3rd Gen. I would assume the 980 pro would operate as 3rd Gen with read/write speeds of 3000/3500. ???? The nvme will be going in my second m2 slot.

    How would I know if my bsod crashes during flight are PSU related.???? Every time it happens I get a different error wording on the blue screen. I ran NXT CAM during flight and. DON'T come near maxing out on anything THANKS

    Hi Steve so emptying the community folder fixed it. Now I have added 1 by 1 add-ons to see what may be the issue. It seems that flybywire a320nx is ok until I add a livery to it then it crashes windows. Any ideas other than not to use a livery.? Thanks

    My ram is actually running at 3100 according to CPUZ program. I will try to clear the community folder and see if it helps thanks

    Hi Steve I am not technically advanced in computers but maybe you could answer a couple of questions about what may be causing crashes ..... 1. Can loosing internet connection for 10 secds cause it 2. I replaced my ram with 2new sticks and a different brand and this fixed the issue but now 2 months later crashes again. HOW WOULD I KNOW IF IT IS BAD RAM OR BAD RAM SLOT on motherboard.???? 3. Is my Power unit suffice for my system. 750 W 4. SSD card that MSFS is on I'm pretty sure he cpu is not overheating cause I can run afterburner during MSFS and monitor usages Thanks. John

    After replacing new ram MSFS flew with no problems. Now after 2 months it starts crashing again BSOD thing IRQL_NOT_LESS....... saying If i run xplane 11 no problems Any ideas why the crashes ? Thanks

    Is there a program that adds real airlines to Msfs instead of the fake default stuff.?

    Maybe if XPLANE was equal in graphics the competition would make the sims much better. Until Msfs has a true competitor we are stuck with what we got.

    Have a dark rock 4 pro cooler but it needs to be taken off to replace ram sticks due to its size A slim version is available, will that be close to as good for cooling CPU ??? 10700K CPU, MSI z490 edge wifi, 2x16 GB 3200 RAM thanks

    Does making an upgrade to high end motherboard do anything for MSFS I currently use a MSI Z 490 EDGE which cost about 200 cdn. I get crashes BSOD when flying and doing something else like surfing the net or listening to music. Thanks
