I was finally able to get mine to work. I had to call in an expert, my 23 old gamer kid to figure it out.

There was something glitchy in one of the downloads from the updates from ASOBO. Not sure which one it was. When he gets back, Ill ask him. Right now I have 5 that are not installed. Think he said it was one of the ones from the most recent update.

In order to get it to work, he uninstalled again and then did the download from the Premium Deluxe version, not the basic. When I was trying to do it, it was the basic game and then downloading all the updates.

It took a while but finally back in the skies and just in time for the next update. But at least they say a performance increase on this go around. I have mine on high settings and usually average around 30FPS in most conditions. Im not 4k but I might switch to the new monitor and go ultra.

4 hours later and not much better. I was able to get to the main page and load up the Isafjodur landing challenge. It gets about 90% loaded and then CTD.

So very frustrating!

I feel your pain. I started having issues about 3 days ago. I uninstalled last night and am downloading now. Did the reg version even though I have the Prem Deluxe. Im at 44.89gb downloaded and its only been 4 hours. I hope this fixes the problem.

The only thing I did to my sim prior to all the issues was to download (from the content manager) the updated airport about 30 miles from Corcheavaul, France. After I did that it has been all downhill. Really a bit of a bummer since I had 400 hours logged.

Time will tell....

Not only That, but Boston and Tampa as well. FlyTampa would be perfect for this...

I have just one throttle quadrant and I havent had any issues using multi engine planes.

All I did was map the controls accordingly.

I use the X slider for my spoilers

For Dual Engine

I use Y Slider for Engine 1

I use Z Slider for Engine 2

For 4 Engine

I use Y Slider for engines 1 and 2

I use Z Slider for engines 3 and 4

Remember when FS9 and then the new geewhiz FSX came out.

I was trying to run FSX like I had FS9 running (which was incredible) but my computer just couldn't keep up and it was a "High End Dell" from 2001. I tried everything (except buying new parts because I was a broke) and had nothing to say but garbage about FSuX. I asked for help and was given some but also told my PC just wasn't up to par. Finally just got over it and went back to FS9 and didn't care anymore. I actually still have the discs. I kept it going until about 2015 when my computer finally died then found other things to do besides flight sim.

When I saw the info on MSFS in early spring 2020 I was blown away. I knew I wanted it and planned to build the best computer I could get. Luckily my son was able to help me and I have been pleased with it and MSFS. Yes, I have had some hiccups but they have always been operator error issues.

Complaining on the internet and not providing specifics doesn't really help. If you need help, ask for it but then be prepared to provide information when asked.

Question for you fine folks flying the FBW A320NX...

Anyone else having CTD's or am I just the lucky one.

Last weekend flying KLAX-KMCO FL350 south of Lubbock, TX got the stutters and it stopped altogether, crash to desktop

Yesterday flying KMCO-KMIA landed, taxiing into the gate (I have the payware KMIA) and parked. Shutting down AC and got the stutters, then crash to desktop

Today, Flying KMIA-KTPA landed and as I was exiting runway on the highspeed, stutters and crash to desktop.

The only constant has been the aircraft. I was using 2 different liveries. American and American OneWorld 8k.

In the background I have Rex Weather and Lil Navmap running. Nothing else.

Never had the CTD's prior to this past weekend.

380 here but prob around another 45 or so when I didnt know that the Dev Mode didnt track hours.

I remember running FSPassengers on FS9 and ran through the rankings 3 times.

Ive had similar things happen with the A320Neo.

I have the Logitech Rudder Pedals. I hit the toe brakes a time or two and then it releases.

It's weird thats for sure.

You should be good to go. Just plug em into GPU. Then configure which one you want to be monitor #1 and the rest accordingly.

Now are you going to try and stretch the video across all of them or just use 1 for the main monitor and then the others as holding your other instruments/map/weather etc??

How many inputs does your GPU have?

When you set it up, change your display settings to "extend desktop"

Mine has 1 HDMI and 3 Display ports.

I tried using 3 screens for a wrap around effect but it didnt look right even when set up correctly. The side monitors looked stretched.

Im using a 2 27 inch 144hz monitors right 1080p monitors. Both are using HDMI inputs. The one directly in the center is set up as the main video and the other monitor is where i put Res Weatherforce 2020 and Lil Nav map plus all nav/camera icon bars.

I had just the opposite. The CH yoke/pedals created roll/pitch issues even after i configured them and all that other stuff.

I finally just bought a Honeycomb Alpha and logitech rudder pedals.

Good news, it worked. I found the XMP part and then was able to overclock with the MSI Afterburner and Kombustor.

Gpu went from 76th to 98th percentile.

Memory went from 34th percentile to 94th.

I call that a win!

I did that thing and it said I was running decent but could be improved on the graphics settings. Ill download that stuff later today.

The only thing that it said that could be improved dual + Channel XMP Bios Profile was enabled. Watched the video they had shared on how to do it and still cant find those slots to do it

I'd really like to learn how to do this.

When I tried to do the system overclock previously, it said that it worked. However I was not able to launch MSFS. Just fails and won't start.

The motherboard is a ROG Strix z390-e Gaming.

Processor is a Intel i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz

Im a complete idiot.

I thought I had downloaded it but apparently I didn't.

Havent been flying much since the latest world update but saw the areas they did and wanted to check them out.

Flying over Paris looks pretty good except the Arc de Triomphe is a office building?? How did they manage to screw that up?

I have my buildings set to high so I thought it would look somewhat good but it just shows as an office building on mine.

I cant be the only person that has this right??

@ Disneyflyer. I am just wondering if you have the 'co-pilot' app in your community folder? If you have, then I suggest that you un-install it as it caused a lot of problems for me (blank & or not working MFDs and more) and others have reported that it causes problems. You could try what I just did...see below:

 

Well, the good news is that I refused to give up and now I have the FlyByWire A320 back and in working order.

 

First, I zipped (7 zip) up the entire contents of the community folder onto the desktop. Then deleted the community folder and all of it’s contents. I fired up FS and rebuilt the rolling cache which automatically made a new community folder. Then I run the FBW installer, and HEY PRESTO! it worked/ I haven’t yet restored the rest of the contents - I’ll do that later, one at a time.

 

Have not yet been able to solve the fact that FS is still missing from the MS Store list of installed app’s - I guess that means that I won’t be able to install any updates now? A Google search reveals that there are indeed problems with the store app, but so far I am unable to find a solution.

 

I’m not doing anymore today. It’s been a long day, my butt is starting to tingle and there’s a big hole in my face wants feeding.

Sorry to hear about this. I wouldnt give up just yet though.

I havent had issues with my controllers lately (bought new Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Logitech Pedals and Throttle) but I did have problems with the FBW A320NX. Installed no issues. Went to fly (cold start up and at runway) and the MFD's on the stable show up but not everything is working on it. Took everything out of the community folder and tried again, no luck. Went to the Development version and this time the MFD's are blank altogether.

Uninstalled and tried a fresh version and same thing.

I keep trying but not having any luck at all. Ill keep on plugging away though.

I noticed the rise in temps on mine as well. I thought it was just me.

I do have liquid cooled and great airflow but the temps did go up some and the GPU is making a little more noise than before the recent update.

Running high settings (no 4k monitor here) so no need to do ultra. Only went up 5-7 degrees but ya the stuttering sucks.

Skip the controller and go with a Yoke.

I was all joystick controller and switched to a Honeycomb Alpha.

I can't imagine going back.

I did keep my MS Sidewinder2 FFB just in case to fly fighters though.

I had this happen to me. I was climbing out of MCO on the way to MIA. I just happened to look out the FO window and there was an F15 about 20 meters away. I have a freeeware import of an F15 that someone apparently had the same copy of. Next thing I know is he accelerates in front of me and then does a couple of rolls and then climbs away to the left hauling ass.

Thought it was pretty cool.

I dont have the traffic name plates on my screen because they annoy me.

Had that happen to me for a while but never could figure it out.

Especially on the King Air.

I gave up flying them for a while and now it works fine.
