  1. I agree fully with Tim Wright "Tiger's" assessment. Also, keep in mind that AMD cards were known to have problematic issues with FS9. I became aware of it years ago when building our simulator. We were attempting to incorporate AMD's "Eyefinity". What a disaster. Matrox Triple & Doublehead cards fixed this issue.
  2. And I bet your good at it right? Just ask one of your friends? :D

    Sudden problem

My guess is that it maybe a corrupt texture issue. FS2004 is well known, and documented, for this anomoly. CRJ_simpilot isnt there a program that checks for this and roots it out? My memory is escaping me. I remember having a similar issue near "Columbia, SC." and for the life of me cannot remember what was suggested. Whatever it was fixed it. Still drawing a blank. Opa would know. God Bless his soul. There is a way and I will eventually remember it. Of course assuming its a corrupt texture. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. Regardless, I would recommend the original poster to search this issue outside of any forum and hopefully you'll come across what I'm referencing. Mitch
  4. Finally an educated response versus a guess.
  5. Sounds like he may need the Zebra 2.1 mod that replaced the Zibo mod.
  6. Sorry "Tom", but those who stumble will never see the light unless they challenge themselves to get back up. Food for thought little buddy.
  7. Ever heard of real weather (3rd party programs) to dictate what is really going on? VATSIM controllers will never lead you astray. In 2020, I wasn't aware there were still people using FS9's ATC. Dont get me wrong, I'm using FS9 also. But you have got to use real weather and a real form of ATC. Mitch

Please don't be an unappreciative and demanding individual. Thank you. Looking forward to your contributions.
  9. Read what Jim Robinson said. Almost 99% of the time these issues can be tracked back to a corrupt file of sort or the other. We've all experienced them and they suck as it tends to happen towards the end of our flights. You should never have to reduce sliders of any sort to overcome what should work in the first place. >>Do you have any own screenshots of this project apart from the once which are allready included in the scenery package? Can anyone post some screenshots please? Its free. Why not try it for yourself. And by the way, Airbasil, your a troll from FSDeveloper. If you have anything constructive to add, please advise us and we will try and fix it to your liking. Honoring your request, not sure why, but here is one that a gentlemen posted over at Avsim: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/568259-kjax-jacksonville-international-2019-release-notice/?do=findComment&comment=4159842

    Plan G Question

Absolutely. I run it flawlessly on a networked PC in our simulator. My only complaint with the program is I wish they would adopt a night mode so it's not so bright at night in a dark cockpit. But then again it's free and works great over a network with WideFS. Michael http://www.757simulator.com
  14. Sounds like the alpha channel for the texture has been stripped. Try re-downloading and replace all textures in the "Texture" directory. Mitch
  15. Yup, you just made my point. Good for you Nel's!!! :)
  16. Nels it was Avsim and the idiot he is referring to I'm sure is the one and only "Hifi Spokesman" at Avsim that has long been banned. (Not mentioning any names but its easy to identify him). Flightsim rocks. Always has, always will. Mitch http://www.757simulator.com
  17. Art, Many thanks for your input. I’m familiar with reference to the BGL files but ignorant on the MDL file. I am familiar with MDL files as they relate to aircraft. That said, I looked over the original KRSW scenery and there are no MDL files within the directory structure. Is this something possibly the original author used to create the scenery and chose not to include in the release? And help greatly appreciated, Mitch
  18. With permission of the Mach1 scenery design authors, I am in the process of revamping and retexturing Southwest Florida KRSW for FS9. I have a texturing issue which I addressed with the original authors and unfortunately they are unable to assist as their lives have gone other directions etc. The issue I am having is that a certain texture is assigned to cover two areas on buildings. The texture works great on one building but is horribly repetitive on the other. Therefore, I wish to design a new texture for the second area - which I have since done. NOW THE PROBLEM.. I have no idea how to assign this texture within the given BGL file. I have read much of late and have downloaded and installed several programs which decompile, analyzes, and recompile’s the BGL. However, I see no where within the XML or anywhere else which indicates where texture BMP’s are assigned. If anyone is willing to give me some directions on this issue it would be greatly appreciated. The KRSW scenery will continue to be freeware. Thank you,
  19. Updates for both airports are now complete and available in the library. Hope you like. Mitch
  20. That could be one of the most horrendous airport re-designs I've ever seen. Sure this isn't the default?
