Hmm, when I look at the number of new downloads and compare it with AVSIM, I notice a significant difference.

Is it because of that I simply can’t find that section any more, or could it be that there is a quiet unappointed "upload boycott" going on, because fs community people don’t like to be involved in a public alpha-test of an "amazing" new forum software?

I just visited AVSim and I haven't found anything better or clearer. And what I certainly dislike, is a site that runs scripts from near to 40 other companies to evaluate your clicks. Here a selection - they didn't fit into the window. But everybody as he or she likes.

  2. I am not sure, I never used them, but would the following be near to what you are looking for:

click "Browse" - "Downloads" - select the category you are interested in, then "Sort by" and "most downloaded". Sounds to me like "hot".

But maybe I am totally wrong.

  3. @leuen - you are right, via the Browse button you need to check all sub-categories one by one. So this would be an item for the wish list - for example: by clicking the main category (for you that would be "F2004 (ACOF)") get all entries of all sub-categories uploaded during the past 30 days (currently, clicking there gives you the message, that the category is empty).

What about the selection "What's new?" for FS2004? I'm not going through all MSFS, P3D and FSX entries to search for eventual FS2004 addings!

Sorry, but have a look at Avism, SOH or Simviation how a site could be done user friendly.

How about: "Browse" - "Downloads" - and then: from the categories on the right hand side, select the 2004 category, you're interested in. Isn't that, what you are looking for?

  5. I received a notification, that somebody quoted me in a post. But: when I click on the link, I get the message, that I do not have permission to view the topic. When I search for the member name, I find him, but not the post.

    Something to fix?

  6. I have the same question as douga66 - I have many files. And on top different versions of the same scenery. So should we report files one by one, one by one and only latest versions - or all in one list. On top, I created some intermediate versions just for myself. Therefore I can easily give a list of what I have on my computer, but not necessarily a list of what I uploaded.

So, Adrian, it would be nice if you could be a bit more specific, please. Thank you!

Other than that I am getting more and more familiar with the new lay-out. Curious to see, what is coming.

  7. Sorry for not replying earlier, shortly after my initial post the add-on appeared in the list, so I had assumed, the problem was identified and solved. But now, it is the same with my latest post.

Selecting "File Library" - "Search Files" and then select "MSFS:MSFS scenery" and a text string like for example "grimsel" shows the latest upload on top of the result list (Date 09-12-2022)

Selecting "File Library" - "New Files" - "All new files" also lists the latest upload (a bit deeper in the list, as to be expected)

Selecting "File Library" - "New files" - "MSFS" does not include the latest upload.

The header "Kassel incineration plant; add-on for MSFS 2020" should be clear enough to identify the upload as MSFS related.

    I hope, this helps.
