  1. YPAG - YPPF Port Augusta - Parafield / Adelaide ETE : 0:55 ATA : 0:55 V0 Short stop over at Port Augusta at the Aero Club. Got a big flight coming up. I need to not loose ground. The $25,000 USD Tom has put up for the race is slipping from my fingers. A few additions. Realengine and everyone's favourite 'stopwatch'. Now I have to watch my power settings to not fry the engine. Light, fresh overhaul with some improved mods (based on RW) and she's a rocket. And....someone forgot - as usual - to start the clock. 7500ft cruise altitude. 25/2500 cruise settings. Around 165 KTAS. Correct pph fuel flow. Passing Port Pirie. Need to make up some time...higher mixture setting. Was running pretty lean. Now 170 KTAS. Descent time. Keep the speed up. Watch the IAS carefully. A little turbulence. the 210 known to be a little dicey in this situation. Thank goodness I have damage mode off... And the infamous blurry mess approaching the Adelaide region. Must be a conflict somewhere.. Tight circuit...trying to lose airspeed. And not shock cool the engine. Thank goodness i'm using a sim...ahem. Flaps, more flaps. High, sideslip....short narrow runway. 4 kt crosswind...No landing pic. Bouncy is a word I could use.. ok...maybe here is the issue... Parked. Scored a V0. Woohoo. Time to peg back the gap. Nice panel van..
  2. Next leg. Ceduna - Port Augusta (YCDU-YPGA) ETE : 1:18 ATA : 1:19 V+1. Much better! On the ramp, Ceduna. Gotta do better this one. Departing. She's had a tune up at Ceduna. Performing well now! Look at that climb rate. ^ What a sweet bird. 9500ft cruise. Getting a real TAS and fuel flow for an improved modded T210. Descent into Port Augusta Too fast again. Wide circuit. One day I'll get it right. Approach and a VERY bouncy, log, flaring, bouncing up an down, long landing. Not a pretty sight! And made it. Welcome to Port Augusta.
  3. Forrest to Ceduna. ETE : 1:37 ATA : 1:44 (ouch!) V+7. Forrest and ready to go.. 40C. Hot! Blasting out of Forrest, climbing to FL150. At cruise. The numbers off from the manual. Going to have to work on that. Nice ground speed though. Nearing TOD. Down we go. Ceduna in sight. Which way is the wind? I need to save some time. I'm fast and the C210 is a slippery beast. Wrong way in the circuit. Way to fast. Hey, just another normal approach for me. Overflew final. Wasting time! Speed coming back. Line up...land and taxi in. 7 mins late. Uughhh.
  4. I've gained a place. The comeback begins! Ater I do the dishes, etc etc etc...
  5. From hero to zero! I've gone from basically winning the event to being dead last.
  6. Is this ok? I use limited visibility. Or..
  7. Taking a screenie now. Sorry getting there. I was busy researching fun things to do in Adelaide. Nothing came up.
  8. I didn’t actually know Adelaide was IN Australia until you posted that.
  9. You've never actually been to Adelaide have you?
  10. 4th Leg YCAG - YFRT are in. ETE 1:00 ATA : 1:03 V3. Cruise ALT : 8500ft (should be 9500 however I like even numbers. :p) YCAG and ready for the next leg. A straight run to Forrest. Blasting on out and conversative climb settings. I see some climb it at 35 but I like to use 30/2600rpm. Nice view of....nothing. Good thing the legs are short as I may lose interest haha. Nearing my descent point. Needing some fuel when I arrive. First refuelling point. My landclass about to kick in. Gear down. Lets slow er up! Taking a gamble that the winds are aligned roughly with 09 that I'm landing on. As I get closer I see the windsock is showing a 45 degree crosswind which is ok. Not a good touchdown as my crosswind technique was non-existent. Another good leg. A longer one coming up to Ceduna. Got some flight planning to do...
  11. Here's my 3rd leg (no pun intended wink wink) from YNSM to YCAG. I need a chronometer as the Carenado timer does weird things at times. So I've been using the FS2004 flight planner. Seems to work ok. ETE for the flight was 1:12. Landed in 1:13. So pretty good effort (patting my own back)for this leg. On the apron at Noresman. May add some more grass and shrubs however I believe its on a salt flat or near one. Taxing out, and take off. The 310hp gets us up quickly. Turn right, and say good bye to Noresman. Good pub lunch a the local. Learnt a few interesting tidbits of info from some proceeding racers. Not much to look at in the outback. 8500ft cruise altitude. Looking for a 165 TAS in the cruise. Descent into Caiguna which is nothing more than a big truck stop it seems. Approach and landing. What have I been doing in ADE.... ...adding lots of shrubs and grass!! And completely added YCAG from new using ADE. Wanted to see how I could do it. Seemed to work ok. Nice landing kinda. Long Taxi to the end. Parked and enjoying my handy work. Got to fix a few things up in all three airsrips Iv'e worked on. I can share them but not sure whether they will work the same as I don't know what libraries I've used. One minute early! Off to the truck stop for a cold drink. 8 mins from bottle to throttle is the rule out west isnt it??
  12. They operate the gear and flaps for me with a carefully placed paw on the keyboard. Usually mid flight in the cruise.
  13. Oh…I reread it. I’m leading despite not having flown all the legs. And the events still not over. oh…embarrassing.
  14. I won I won!!! Woohooo!!!! So I’m the champion and first ever winner of the virtual event??!! I just want to thank my fans…especially the pedestal fan which helped during the warmer part of the day. Also to thank : My cats. My parents. My friends. My wife. Possibly in that order but not necessarily in that order.
  15. YKNG - YNSM flight. Forgot to post em. Taxing out through all that grass. Gotta cut some as its a little frame heavy. Looks good though.. Blasting off. Climbing to 10,000ft. Get that TAS up to 170 or so. Oooh she's a sweet bird. Got a tailwind. Cruising along at a tidy pace. Descent time. Noresman in sight. Little fast. Little high. Little off course. No flaps. Another normal approach! Got her under control. And more fun with ADE. Arrived. 4 mins ahead of schedule.
  16. Holy power poles Batman. @jgf I was thinking how fun - and difficult - it would be to fly the leg with no gps. No navaids. Dead reckoning only.
  17. Yeah lots of charter companies use em in NT / WA etc. Take her up high and she cruises pretty fast. 170-180 KTAS easily.
  18. Hey thanks. I'm not the greatest at figuring out stuff with scenery design, but once it was mentioned about using the library objects through ADE, well, there went my time. lol. The 210 is a fun bird. I need to use it some more.
  19. I'm WAY behind on the race, however, it was for a reasonably good reason. As you'll see shortly. At Jandakot. C210 prepped and ready to go. Climbing out. Heading to first waypoint. 54 mins was the planned time for the route according to Skyvector. Leaving Perth behind. AT cruising altitude. 5500. 30mp / 2400rpm power settings. So fairly aggressive. Sexy! And not a nun in sight... A little green for that part of the world. I will change textures for the next flight. Descent has began. Slowly reduce mp. She's a slippery aircraft. YKNG. And reason for my delay. A little bit of 'enhancement'. Wait till we get closer. L O L. I got a little excited. Lots of screens to come. Sorry. Ok, so I went a little crazy on the grass. (56min on timer) More, grass. Some cones. Some hangers and buildings facing wrong way to kinda mimic the YKNG airport. ADE makes it so easy. Wispy reedy like grass. Kinda cool. Of course, all that grass brought down the fps from 30 locked to 22-24 on approach. Oops. Still ok. Parked on the dirt as an RFDS aircraft inbound. Flight over. Time for some refreshment then the next leg to YNSM. After I mess around with ADE some more...
  20. I'm on the board! A nice little +2 V. Happy with the performance of the 210. One sexy fast aircraft. Screens to follow.

ok, thought that might be the case. Tedious indeed. I did also do some manually as you described which worked well. And there is a big ADE thumbnail file I found that helped add more. Still, SOOOOO much easier than Rwy12 which is borderline tortureous. I'll take tedious anyday, lol.

Question, I've been able to add more objects to ADE, mostly from the Static Objects Library. I can easily add the bgl files, however no thumbnails will be there. I can add them manually. Is there another way to add them for a complete folder? Like Lars_ExtraObjects as an example. The only way I could do it is to add them manually by inserting them into the sim then seeing what object it was. Kinda slow.

Awesome thank you. I’ll give it a whirl when I have time.
