How do you look up with TrackIR?

Recommended Posts

I want to buy this devise. I've seen some videos on youtube with simmers work around switches on upper panels of airliners... question is if you want to see an upper panel on your monitor, you have to raise your head up (and to the right), which will result in you seeing a ceiling in your room, not a monitor. So how do you raise your head up and to the right, and see the monitor still?

Same goes for the engine/radio pedestal.

As Double J says, movements are slight. A very small head movement move the on screen "head" a lot, such that you can still see the screen when you're looking up or back at the runway on downwind. You can move fore and aft, left or right, tilt your head, etc. It takes a little practice to get consistently smooth, but it soon becomes second nature, at least for most folks. I do have a friend that has had trouble adjusting, though.
