Possibly changing to an i5; Any performance yields?

So, I've been enjoying my flight simulation computer for about a year now, and I feel like it needs a refreshment.

The current specs are as below:

Motherboard: ASRock 68-VS3 FX

CPU: AMD FX-4130 overclocked to 4.1GHz

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 120V Seidon

GPU: EVGA GTX 650 1GB

RAM: 8GB (4GB x2) DDR3

PSU: 520W

I've saved some money since I bought this PC, and I was thinking about upgrading the CPU and the motherboard as well.

After searching within my budget, I came to this combination.

New CPU: Intel i5-4960K @ 3.5GHz - $214.29 - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KPRWB9G/?tag=pcpapi-20

New Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-H81M-HD3 - $63.49 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128662&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Personally, I feel that these new hardware would increase the performance on FSX, but I want to hear the opinion of others.

Would the Intel i5-4960K perform better than the AMD FX-4130? And is this entire upgrade worth the cost ($280.77 total)?

Thanks in advance.
