SOH-C1A Grumman Tracker by Shupe

Have recently started flying this wonderful aircraft. After about 5-8 minutes both engines quit following a fire warning. I am conscious of the need to reduce manifold pressure & rpm while in cruise but still the fire warnings persist. Can't find a suitable place to post my issue over at Sim Out House so I post here in hopes that someone can offer a solution.

Thank you,

CRV

I cannot help you other than to suggest you post in the FS9 forum at SOH, where Milton will see it.

I would start a new Thread over at SOH regarding your issue. Milton's been busy updating a few of his older Models, and has been posting regularly there. I'm sure he'll see your Thread and get you squared away.

I had this version and did 2 test flights. The first ended in flames after 5 minutes. I also made sure to lower the RPM's and Manifold pressure, but come to find out, not nearly low enough. 2nd test flight went OK.

This is from Milton's OOPS README file.

Normal engine operation:

=======================================================

1450-2500 RPM continuous operation 18-47.5" MAP

2700 RPM military power (max 30 mins) 52.0" MAP

2800 RPM take-off power (max 5 mins) 56.5" MAP

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️
