ralphie1313 Posted November 14, 2023 Share Posted November 14, 2023 Hi anyone have any issues after the last driver update from nvidia? since iii installed it now everytime i go over nyc my fps drop to 1fps and she ikeeps freezing up. I was always around 70fps over nyc same settings. So i tried rolling it back to the drivers before but still doing it, i did a clean install still the same and i even uninstalled fs,, anyone else have problems ? i am using driver 546.01 thanks windows 11, asus crosshair viii dark hero, 64mb g.skill d4 4000 ram, amd ryan9 5950 clocked to 4.3, noctua nh-u12s, asus rtx 4080 oc, 2x samsung 980 pro ssd 3tb m.2 nvme x3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jgf Posted November 14, 2023 Share Posted November 14, 2023 Try using the driver uninstaller (https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/) Follow all instructions, let windows restart with its default drivers, then try reinstalling the vid drivers. amberdog1 Posted November 14, 2023 Share Posted November 14, 2023 I updated the driver and didi a flight from FD38 to KTPF with no issues. Here is what I did, after the nivida update and reboot I opened the NVIDIA GeForce Experience at the home page and I optimized the settings, rebooted again and thin ran MSFS until it is at the page where you can start a free flight, at this point I close to my desktop and and restart MSFS and set a flight.
