Hi anyone have any issues after the last driver update from nvidia? since iii installed it now everytime i go over nyc my fps drop to 1fps and she ikeeps freezing up. I was always around 70fps over nyc same settings. So i tried rolling it back to the drivers before but still doing it, i did a clean install still the same and i even uninstalled fs,, anyone else have problems ? i am using driver 546.01 thanks

So i pretty much take off from jfk all the time so my take off fps are 90, ok so let say i had to do something and i minimize fs, like when it's down in the tool bar. IF its like that for like 20 min and then open it again and fly my fps go to 40 and stays like that anyone know why? And it does it all the time, if i just minimize it for a few min its fine but like 20 min on it does it. If i want my fps back i have to restart it!!!!

Just finished hooking up am5 set up with rtx 4090, so i took the euro typhoon out over new york city of course every option turned up to the max and running in 4096x2160 and doing a speed of 1200 mph and i hit 79 fps !!!! was so happy !!! ah the little things in life that please us !!

Is there any way to turn off the overspeed warning sounds like on commerical planes like a 747 ?

no all live stuff is off weather, time, ect. yes it drops down to single digits and its not even from change of scenery it will do it at like when i fly to cali from ny i set it at 50,000 feet so really its smooth runs at like 110fps up there then like 3 hours in it just starts freaking out..

Thanks for all the answers i now see the different views on this is and first off to answer some i don't need to lie with that said the other comments are so true u right and yes i will stop looking at the fps its running smooth and great and i am enjoying myself to the fullest !!!! It's beautiful and i just found something the other day wow when u turn up the wind and fly over the water and it has waves so insane !!!!! So thanks everyone for the reply's i got my answer !! Oh did forget to ask one? anyone have a problem with like flying for 2 or 3 hours straight it starts to breakdown i start getting choppy frame rates and it gets worse i have to restart fs and its deff not a heat issue my card never goes over 41c

So using an airforce jet at 1200mph over new york city every option possible turned up to the max!! i am doing 59 fps is that good?

So finally after lord knows how many hours flying and hearing about others stories i finally got mine. So on a free flight from italy to florida someware over the atlantic a black triangle object camr from behind right over my jet then looped around my plan twice and took off up and away!!!! So cool ms does that!!

Hi so it started like a month ago any time i go below 10,000 feet she starts to get so choppy i can not fly it, my frame rates drop from like 90 to 5 i have tried every different settings possible and last week i just got the new rtx 4080 and does the same thing i have tried every setting and even when i drop it to the lowest settings it still does it thats y i know something elses is wrong i got the latest top shelf parts this should not happen...

So not being the best of knowledge in the world i did the best i could to learn. But did i get burned ? so i had 2080 rtx all my other computer parts u can see below so went and got an asus oc 4080 rtx, also my only other lagger was my tv i was still using 1080i, so i upgraded to a lg c2 gaming tv sure most know the specs. Now the old setup using ms2020 i would be flying around above 10k feet altitude i was around 40 fps and that was using a jet at 1000mph over new york city but the minute i went below around 10k feet it would drop to 5mph and u could not fly it, So did the upgrades like i said 4080 and the lg gaming tv with 120 refresh rate and all the goodies 65 inch. Was so excited to fly booted everything up set it all up and bam nothing changed!!!! For 3 days i have tried every settings u can on tv and on the new card!!! So does anyone else have this problem? Oh i should note like i said above 10k feet with old setup i was like 40fps with new setup i am around 100 fps !!! And yes everything is up to date !! Thanks guys!!

yes!!!! thats the right way to explain it thanks, now is there a way to do that on fs or only on x plane?

no i dont mean the land going around i am trying to say when u turn the earth goes up to either side of the screen in x plane in fs when u turn the earth stays flat

when i hit the end key it just switches me to outside the plane

Hi is there an option in fs like x plane were like if u turn the plane left or right and the view tilts with the plane like the land goes around the plane? sorry if i am not explaining it right ...

they dont do anything do i got to change any settings for the keyboard?

Ok so the "insert" button got me to the drone mode and yes the drone mode is what i am looking for how it moves with the plane only problem that more was like fixed to the top of the tail, i am looking for drone mode/ chase mode..... i will keep playing with it thanks for the help

hi does fs 2020 have the camera mode like x plane when u are behind the plane and turn or what ever the camera turns with the plane not just the plane is moving ? if it has this feature whats it called or how do u turn it on thanks ....

thats the strange part i bought this system when mfs 2020 came out and i have not had a problem until like 2 months ago and its not everytime its sometimes, even last night i was flying and it was fine then i went to move the wire that connects the pedals to the yoke and all of a sudden it started !! i guess is what it is, makes one mad!! lol and u know the line when u look under controls and primary controls the line that moves for up and down when its centered and the left to right line underneath is over to the right just a notch!!!!!! I like to fly fighter jets mostly and a lot of them do not have auto pilot... thanks

Anyone have any help to get the yoke to center left and right ? Its off alittle to the right and u can see in under controls, i tried to calibrate it under windows but no matter what i do its off centered to the right so i can never fly level it veers right its so annoying and i tried trimming it and it does not help!!!!! thanks

Anyone know why under all the bridges its all black u can not see throu it u can fly throu but its black the whole span of the bridge thanks

OMG !!!!! I GOT IT WORKING !!!!!!!!! the happiest person on here!!! lol So like u said its good to just keep talking about things so just now reading your post i went to control options and keyboard so i noticed my keyboard have a saved profile r it said i dont know how that happen but i set it to default and went back in and yes it fixed it the esc button is now doing what it was suppose to!!!! Thanks david if u were here i would cook u 20 pounds of pasta !!! lol i am italian from brooklyn so we give thanks with pasta and meatballs!!! lol

no i cant get that far, what u just said how u press esc and the back to menu and continue appears mine does not appear when i hit the esc button nothing happens but only then when in flight any!!!! other place in fs the esc is working its like i or it got disabled but only when flying its crazy and driving me crazy!!!!!maybe this started as i stated above i did not log on for a month or so and when i did log on the other day it automatically installed any needed updates, BUT also i downloaded "MAVERICK' !!! maybe that did it !!!!??? I am going to have to knock out MAVERICK!!!! lol he knows i fly better then him and i never never ever leave my WINGMAN!!

not sure if this helps but its like i locked the flying part like so no one can exit to the menu .... just things popping in my head!!
