PhrogPhlyer
It may be just me, but the X-Plane version looks more "Real." Great comparison pics. Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas. Laptop, Intel Core i7 CPU 1.80GHz 2.30 GHz, 8GB RAM, 64-bit, NVIDIA GeoForce MX 130, Extra large coffee-black. Founder Nels_Anderson Posted October 10, 2023 Founder Share Posted October 10, 2023 The X-Plane designer did quite a good job on that plane! Place into the right scenery you could probably fool most people into believing they were seeing a real world scene. Both images seem a little blurry though, did you process them in some way? Thanks Nels. The airplane is an FSX conversion. The images are a bit blurry - the "real" original photo was kind of small so I enlarged it and that impacted the resolution. On the X-Plane model the paint lines on the livery are not sharp and crisp and zooming in for a closeup brought that out. I also tilted the photo angle down a bit to match the perspective of the real airplane shot.
