DeltaDawg
I purchased the Saitek yoke, throttle quadrant and the Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel and have never been able to get it configured to work. Currently I am running an hp laptop with the following specs. i7 2.11GZ processor 16GB Ram 64bit Window 10 Pro. 500GB hd W/ 50GB free space. The graphic is The Intel UHD Graphics 620 (GT2) is an integrated graphics unit The yoke works fine I just can't seem to get the throttle quadrant configured nor can I get the switch panel to work. I have gone to saitek's website and downloaded the drivers for all devices and still have the same issue. Is there anyone that can possibly help me to get this to work or get it configured please? I am contemplating purchasing FSX Steam edition but do not want to waist the money doing so if I can get it to work with my current install as I have collected and configured a vast number aircrafts and would HATE to have to start all over again. jgf
Try a different USB port. And make sure windows game controller screen shows the device(s), otherwise windows is not recognizing it.
DeltaDawg
Hi, thank you soooo much for your help. Sof far I have tried several different usb ports and I am able to get the yoke to work fine and I was also able to get the throttle quadrant to provide thrust however my switch panel does not work so I tried what you said and noticed that the yoke shows in fs2004 but nothing else shows in the flight sim nor does it allow me to configure it. So I tried an xplane demo and notice that the throttle quadrant did work for the most part in that app but is is such a resource hog. I am thinking about switching to fsx from 2004 I just did not want to have to recreate all the panels and skins that I have collected over the years. But it looks like I may just have to. Just to see if it works with fsx. Window did see the yoke and the flight switch panel but not the throttle quadrant. I just have to figure out how to get the 64bit software installed for it because it keep stopping at the install screen where it asks you to plug in your usb device and does nothing else at that point. hjwalter
Have you tried plugging your throttle quadrant and your switch panel into the USB ports on the rear side of your Saitek yolk ? Hans
mrzippy
Maybe a powered USB hub might be needed! Laptop may not be providing enough to power everything. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
