jgf
Anyone recognize the logo on the gear covers of this Beech Staggerwing? (cropped from photos at airliners.net, hope this is acceptable) Aircraft is NC47024, owned by a lady in NC, many photos available; I actually saw this plane about thirty years ago at OSU airport. As it is one of the most attractive liveries I've seen on an aircraft, I'm recreating it for FS2004-

jgf
Interesting, I searched for an hour, through Sherwin-Wiliams sites, company history sites, logo sites, and found no mention, much less an image, of this logo; is it still in use. (The SWP aircraft section does have some interesting photos of modern paint jobs.)

On the aircraft "Sherwin Williams" is under the logo, that's a variant I've not seen before. Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas. I also find it interesting that although I have seen this logo on actual aircraft there is no official mention of it concerning SWP. I wonder if it developed from artistic license of those detailing the aircraft. Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas.
