That's one way to "cool your jets." Looked great transitioning into the sunlight.

Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas.

Thanks, Phrog.  FS2020 has done a reasonably decent job displaying most atmospheric effects including weather and lighting. Still, so far (IMHO) no flight sim has ever accurately depicted convective weather.  That and ATC remain big areas for improvement.

A very complex modeling within the meteorology community. Other than some orographic uplifting used for glider flying, it would be very difficult within a sim. I think a true representation of low level wind sheer and microburst activity near an airfield would be add an increased level of reality into flight planning and also up to the minute weather/wind changes.
